Gonzales City Center
Not far from the puptown of Cost, you will find Gonzales! This is a pawsome place to visit since it is home to City Park. Here there is plenty of open green grass for rolling and roaming, and enjoying a game of fetch. But it may be best to keep your canine on his or her leash, as it is surrounded by roads. If you need somewhere dog friendly that you can stay, check in to the La Quinta Inn and Suites. Here you are welcome to bring two pups of any size for no additional fee. How pawsome is that?

Saint Louis St/ N College St
For a pawsome day out with your pooch, head on over to the puptown of Gonzales! Here you will find the puptastic Kerr Creek Park and Gonzales City Park. These two furrific places are right next to each other and join together to offer lots of green grass for your pooch and space to roam. There are also plenty of trees here to provide some shade for you and your pup on hot and sunny days. There is a walking path that you can follow to stretch your and your pup’s legs, and there are restroom facilities that you can use during the day too.

Luling City Center
To have a fun trip with your canine, jump in the car and head to Luling! Here you will find the pawsome Southside Park where you can exercise your pup and enjoy some fresh air. There is lots of grass here to expend some energy, as well as a sniff-tastic walking path that you can follow along the San Marcos River. If you get hungry, head to the Dairy Queen for a bite to eat! You can tuck into some sweet treats here, as well as order a special Pup Cup for your good boy or girl. There are also outdoor tables where you can sit and relax.

Martin St/ Bingham St
Are you looking for somewhere to stay that accepts dogs? Since there are no dog friendly hotels in Cost, head to the puptown of Yoakum. Here you will find the pawsome Black Gold Inn, where you can stay with a furry friend of any size for only a small additional fee per night. All of the rooms will let you and your pup feel at home, with air conditioning, free internet access and flat-screen televisions. In addition, there are some furrific amenities that you can use, including outdoor grills, picnic tables, a free breakfast in the morning, and a fitness center.
Yoakum City Center
For an adventure with your pooch, head on over to the puptown of Yoakum! Here you will find the pawsome Yoakum City Park where you can have some fun with your furry friend. You will find lots of open grass for roaming around and burning some energy, as well as enough room to enjoy a game of fetch. In addition, there are trees here that will provide you with some much-needed shade on a hot day. There are also some puptastic amenities that you can enjoy during the day here, including a playground for the kids, benches and a soccer field.
