When you are in Lampasas, be sure to head to the College Street Park! Enjoy this one acre of grass where you can play fetch with your pooch and enjoy some exercise in the fresh air. In addition, there is playground equipment for the kids. Another puptastic place is Hannah Springs Park! Here you can wander around the sniff-tastic walking trail with your pup, as well as let your canine run around on the open grass. There is plenty of seating to relax, with a sculpture garden you can visit. If you get hungry, head to Eve’s Café on the Square for a bite to eat. Dig into some delicious German cuisine, as well as spend time with your beloved companion at one of the two outdoor tables.

South Lampasas
Every canine loves a trip to the park, which means that you have got to visit W.M. Brook Park when you are in Lampasas! This is a pawsome place where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll down beside the river, and your furry friend can even make a splash. Do some fishing in the river, or check out the playground for the kids, picnic area and restrooms. Another furrific spot in town is Hancock Springs Park! Here you can let your canine bound around on the grass and enjoy a game of fetch. Other sniff-tastic amenities include a swimming pool, playground, volleyball court and picnic area.

For a pawsome day out with your pooch, head to the east of Lampasas to the puptown of Copperas Cove! Here you will find the puptastic Dairy Queen where you can get your paws into some delicious hot dogs, chicken, sandwiches, burgers and ice cream cones. If you canine has been a good boy or girl, you can also order a special Pup Cup! There are outdoor tables here where you are free to sit down and enjoy your food with your beloved companion - bone-a-petit! If you are looking for somewhere dog friendly to stay this side of town, check in to the Super 8. Here you are welcome to bring two furry friends to stay of any size for only a small additional fee per night.

For an adventure with your beloved companion, jump in the car and head on over to the puptown of Copperas Cove! Here you will find the pawsome Copperas Hill Estates Park where you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some quality time with your pup. There is a sniff-tastic walking trail here that you can explore with your furry friend that stretches the whole length of the park. In addition, there is a playground for the kids. Just be sure to bring some fresh water and treats for your canine when it is hot outside.

Not far from Lampasas, you will find the pawsome puptown of Copperas Cove! This is a furrific place to bring your canine for the day since it is home to Heritage Park. Here there is plenty of open green grass where your furry friend can run around and burn some excitable energy. You can enjoy a game of fetch, as well as practice training here since it is quiet. Check out the playground equipment for the kids, and picnic tables where you can relax and enjoy a treat with your pup.
