Aleah went above and beyond for my pups! They had made a mess in the house while I was out and Aleah even cleaned it for me. How kind!!! She even sent me a video of my pups on the walk which I absolutely adored. I look forward to working with her in the future!

Pace Park Road

Pace Park Road

Turn down Pace Park Road on Salado’s North Main Street if you’re looking for a pupperific park to play with your pooch! Pace Park is mostly used for fun family gatherings on the picturesque pavilion, but there is so much for barking besties to do here. The lush grounds provide a beautiful setting for walks, and there’s plenty to sniff out and explore. This park is also home to spectacular Salado Creek, the perfect place to dip paws in the summer months. This park has history, too, and you and Fido can see ruts from wagon wheels imbedded into the limestone creek that date back to a time when the main street was part of the Chisholm Trail.

Salado Plaza Drive

Salado Plaza Drive

Salado Plaza Drive, just north of Salado, is home to the village sculpture park. Salado Sculpture Garden features awe-inspiring and accessible works of art from the talented locals, and you really couldn’t ask for a better place to go on some wondrous walkies with man’s best friend. The meandering path is easy to follow and ensures you don’t miss any of the incredible pieces, but you can venture off-road and take a self-guided wander through this scenic spot. With a backdrop like this, you can play pupperazzi and snap some pics of your pooch looking pawsitively fetching in front of some breathtaking creations, or sit and pawnder the beauty of it all over a picnic in the grass. While you get lots of laps here, be sure to bring water and waste bags with you.

Stillhouse Hollow Lake

Stillhouse Hollow Lake

The Lampasas River cuts through the Chalk Ridge Falls Park in Belton and makes for a stunning spot for a stroll. This wooded wonderland covers an expanse of nature, and you’d be barking mad to miss out on all the oppawtunities for furry fun on offer here! There’s at least 5 miles of roaming room, and whether you follow the tremendous trails or not, there’s so much to see. There’s a suspension bridge to cross, but it has been known to get a bit wobbly, so be mindful of your marvelous mutt when taking the trek across!
