My name is Shie and I just have a love for dogs. I've always had one since I was small; with their sizes ranging from a small chihuahua to a giant great dane. I volunteer at animal shelters as well as my veterinary clinic. I want to continue being around and working with dogs. Hope to meet you and your pup soon.
Hi, my name is Sereana (Suh-ree-nuh). What can I say other than I'm a pet lover. I've got over 6 years in experience working in pet care. I started as a kennel tech at a veterinary clinic for a year until I was trained and worked as a vet tech for over a year. When I moved to Austin I worked at a boarding kennel and loved it more than I can say. I currently have a full house and have two cats and two dogs.

Hello, my names Raychel! I’m a 23 year old RDA and part time college student. I. love. dogs. I grew up with one very loved pup, and helped raise my brothers dogs litter last summer. I’ve also dog sitted for many family members. I’m honestly that person who approaches a dog before the owner lol I genuinely love the furry friends. I don’t have a dog right now & have a little bit of down time so I look at like like a hobby. I would love to meet you & your dog!

The vibrant village of Salado in Bell County, Texas is renowned for its creative spirit and boasts an ever-growing art community that thrives in this culture-rich region. History-loving hounds will be in heaven here, as Salado is home to an unearthed Paleolithic Native American settlement that is over 15,000 years old, and nineteen locations in the village are featured on the National Register of Historic Places.
Not only can you and your pooch learn about the fascinating local history on a leashed lap around this village, but the lively main street has many dog-friendly places to peruse! The Chupacabra Craft Beer and Salado Lone Star Winery on North Main Street welcome well-behaved barkers inside with you as you sample the best drinks that Texas has to offer. Also on North Main Street, you’ll find Lively Coffeehouse and Bistro, where you can feast with your furever friend by your side at their pet-friendly tables.
Fancy working up a sweat before sipping and slurping on the main street? Salado has numerous parks just waiting to give you and Fido a true Texan welcome when you come to explore! If you’ve got a congenial canine who wants a better social life, then you’ll love Oak Tree Bark Park, located just 15 minutes away in Temple. For a small daily fee or a month’s pooch pass, Fido can have a leash-free frolic in this massive park that includes an obstacle course and puppy pool!
Turn down Pace Park Road on Salado’s North Main Street if you’re looking for a pupperific park to play with your pooch! Pace Park is mostly used for fun family gatherings on the picturesque pavilion, but there is so much for barking besties to do here. The lush grounds provide a beautiful setting for walks, and there’s plenty to sniff out and explore. This park is also home to spectacular Salado Creek, the perfect place to dip paws in the summer months. This park has history, too, and you and Fido can see ruts from wagon wheels imbedded into the limestone creek that date back to a time when the main street was part of the Chisholm Trail.
Salado Plaza Drive, just north of Salado, is home to the village sculpture park. Salado Sculpture Garden features awe-inspiring and accessible works of art from the talented locals, and you really couldn’t ask for a better place to go on some wondrous walkies with man’s best friend. The meandering path is easy to follow and ensures you don’t miss any of the incredible pieces, but you can venture off-road and take a self-guided wander through this scenic spot. With a backdrop like this, you can play pupperazzi and snap some pics of your pooch looking pawsitively fetching in front of some breathtaking creations, or sit and pawnder the beauty of it all over a picnic in the grass. While you get lots of laps here, be sure to bring water and waste bags with you.
Take the short twenty-minute drive to Harker Heights and follow Mountain Lion Road to Purser Family Park, and you and your darling dog have the pawfect day ahead of you! This park has many picnic areas for packed puppy lunches, a sparkling stream flowing through the grounds, and a playground for all to enjoy. Not only does Purser Family Park have wooded walking trails for stretching some furry legs, there is an off-leash dog park on-site, too! This dog park has separate spots for smaller dogs and has ample dumping stations and a water fountain. Purser Family Park is the stuff that doggy dreams are made of!
The Lampasas River cuts through the Chalk Ridge Falls Park in Belton and makes for a stunning spot for a stroll. This wooded wonderland covers an expanse of nature, and you’d be barking mad to miss out on all the oppawtunities for furry fun on offer here! There’s at least 5 miles of roaming room, and whether you follow the tremendous trails or not, there’s so much to see. There’s a suspension bridge to cross, but it has been known to get a bit wobbly, so be mindful of your marvelous mutt when taking the trek across! The main path leads you to a whimsical waterfall with plenty of places to take a cooling doggy dip!
Looking for a no-bones-about-it great day with your precious pooch? It’s just a short spin to Lions Park in Temple, and a journey you certainly won’t regret! This huge park has three playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, and disc golf courses. There’s a walking trail for leashed loops around the park, and best of all? An off-leash dog park for Fido to make furever friends in! Central Texas Bark Park has separate areas for the tiniest Terrier and largest Leonberger, and although there isn’t much shade, there’s a water fountain to help keep your canine cool. You can even make a donation to engrave your dog's name on a bone-shaped brick on the premises!
