North Pearl Street
The northern part of Rockport bordering with Fulton is a bridge between Rockport-Fulton area with a post office and the Memorial Park as the main recreation area in the city. Known for its marine attractions, this Rockport neighborhood offers a small but simple facility for every canine visitor – Rockport Dog Park. Recently opened in 2012, this 2-acre, fenced, off-leash park has been welcoming tail-waggers and their masters ever since. The park has quickly become one of the most popular places among local dog owners, turning into a friendly community of like-minded dog lovers. Bring your pooch to play in one of two separate areas and discover a new pawesome place to visit.36
Community Park
If your pooch is tired of overcrowded parks, unnecessary restrictions and being on a short leash all the time, your next stop should be Community Park in the western part of Port Aransas. Apart from being the biggest recreation area in the city and home to the Island RV Resort and Port Aransas Nature Preserve, this neighborhood is also home to the Port Aransas Dog Park. Port Aransas Beach Road West
The eastern shoreline of Port Aransas is a great place to visit during vacation time to enjoy all the marine activities paired with a light breeze and extremely hot summers. You can't avoid visiting a beach here, and the city has something special for you and your mutt. The beach stretching from north to south on the eastern bank of the island is the quietest and cleanest place in the area where leashed pooches are welcome to join their masters in any activities, including boating and kayaking! Take some inflatable toys with you and dive headfirst into a beach adventure. Your pal will love sniffing out all the shells washed up on the shore!

Mustang Island
Have you been to Mustang Island set south of Port Aransas? If not, then you are missing out! This place is a convenient combination of sandy beaches and a park area. Bring Fido to explore this unspoiled island and delve into 5 miles of the beach with designated areas for dogs to swim. Watch your pooch cooling off and playing fetch in the water, or try some other activities such as kayaking or fishing (your mutt is welcome to accompany you!). Walking along the beach, you will find a campground and a nice dog walk offering close-up views of coastal birds.
