Sugar Land
Around 20 miles north of Long Point is a city called Sugar Land, which is home to some very beautiful dog parks. The first park is called Pawm Springs Dog Park, which is a relatively new park. The park offers a separate small dog area where your little pups can enjoy themselves safely. It includes a small pond in the middle, which is perfect for summer days. Moreover, it has benches, a dog rinse station and lots of shade. Visitors say that the park is very well-maintained and is very clean, so be sure to keep it that way! The other park is RiverStone Dog Park, which is a smaller park. Getting hungry after all that play? Visit Japaneiro's, which is totally dog-friendly.

Meadows Place
Meadows Place is situated some 22 miles away from Long Point and offers a great but small dog park. This pawesome park is divided into two parks; one is for dogs smaller than 20lbs, and the other is for dogs bigger than 20lbs. This quiet, tranquil park is nicely maintained. It has parking with a reasonable fee and security guards that make sure everyone stays safe. Another park in the area is Mark McGrath Municipal Park. This park is dog-friendly, but your fur baby has to be on leash at all times.

Brazos Bend
Approximately 9 miles from Long Point is an area called Brazos Bend, which is home to a very interesting and exciting park called Brazos Bend State Park. This park is dog-friendly, but there are some rules you must follow. Dogs must be on a leash long not more than 6 feet. You need to bring proof of recent rabies vaccine with you, and you must pick up after your dog. Please also note that dogs are not allowed in the swimming area. Other than that, the park is home to American alligators that are the park's biggest attraction.

Rosenberg
The Swimming Hole Private Dog Park is located in Rosenberg. The distance from Long Point is around 14 miles. If you're wondering, “What is a private dog park, exactly?”, allow us to explain. Richmond
Bark Park is a pretty small park that doesn't get a lot of visitors, which is very nice for shy dogs. It can be found around 16 miles away from Long Point. The park has a lot of shade, a dog water fountain, and poop bags -- all the amenities you’d expect from a great dog park. It is open from 7 AM to 8 PM and is very well-maintained. If you need a place to crash, you can check out Richmond AirBnB rentals, where dogs are allowed and there is no dog fee. You’ll need to check with your host regarding their pet policy.
