Travis
The neighborhood of Travis is a residential and forested area along the southern shore of the Brazos River. Right on the river is Riverbend Park, a large area that is dog-friendly. The park has a wide open area, with access to the river by a trail for fishing and swimming, a fenced-in baseball field, picnic tables, and a playground. Additional features of the park are water fountains, benches, and trash bins available to leashed pups and humans. Travis Park is a small park and named after the neighborhood, offering a nice area with shaded sitting areas, recreational fields, and paved walkways. The park has a playground, restrooms, fenced-in baseball fields, and space to play in for pups, with additional features like water fountains and benches.36

North Rosenberg
North Rosenberg is on the northwest corner of the area, filled with open fields and residential homes. The neighborhood rests on the river, and right along the shore is Brazos Park, named after the river. The park has great views of the river, but no way to access it. Despite this, there are still lots of features in the park, like an open area to run around and play in, a volleyball court, a baseball field, a pavilion, a playground, and enclosed tennis courts. Dogs must be on a leash at all times in the park, and have access to water fountains, clean-up stations, trash bins, and benches.24

West Rosenberg
West Rosenberg is a pretty rural neighborhood, filled with some residential homes and old farmlands. Some of those old farmlands have been converted into the Garcia Memorial Park. The park consists of a large field, with 18 acres of open space. There is a creek that cuts through the park, with paved walkways and bridge that run over it, benches and trash bins. Dogs do not have to be on a leash inside the park, but you should remember to bring water and clean-up bags. The La Quinta Inn & Suites is a dog-friendly hotel in the area for those dog-lovers looking to stay in the area with their pet. The hotel offers up to two pets up to any size to stay the night with an additional fee.12

Jackson
The neighborhood of Jackson is a residential area in the city of Richmond, 3 miles northeast from Rosenberg. The area attracts a lot of residents and visitors thanks to the George Park, a large park in the area that has over 50 acres of open space, 12 baseball fields, soccer fields, and enclosed tennis courts. The park also has up to 2 miles of paved trails to enjoy, with access to a pavilion, barbeque facilities, restrooms, a gazebo, and a playground. Dogs are welcome inside the park as long as they remain on a leash and will have access to additional amenities like water fountains, clean-up stations, nighttime lights, trash bins, and benches.
