Bellaire Junction

The Danny Jackson Family Dog Park in the Bellaire Junction area of central Houston is less than half an hour from Manvel. This off-leash park has everything your dog could ever dream of for a fun time, including separate big and small dog sections, swimming ponds, a short trail, and more! Once your dog is done swimming, there's even a dog wash station where you can clean them up. This dog park is free to use, and it's open from 5 AM to 10 PM every day. There's plenty of free parking available, and there are covered seating areas as well.

Tom Bass Regional Park is an expansive recreational facility in southern Houston, and it's less than a 20-minute drive from Manvel. Fishing, biking, hiking, volleyball, golfing, playgrounds, and picnicking are just some of the activities you can enjoy at Tom Bass Regional Park. Another exciting feature of the park is the off-leash dog park! The Tom Bass Regional Dog Park has big and small dog sections as well as a walking trail. This well-maintained park has water fountains for dogs, waste disposal items, and seating. Other park areas are dog-friendly as long as your dog is wearing their leash. 

Greenway/Upper Kirby

The area known as Greenway/Upper Kirby in central Houston is less than a half-hour drive from Manvel. This area is home to the Levy Park Dog Park that's conveniently located near sports fields and a playground. There are big and small dog sections at the Levy Park Dog Park, and the entryways are double-gated as an added safety measure. There's drinking water for dogs, but there are also water features that occasionally spray water for dogs to play in or to cool off. Levy Park Dog Park is free to use, and your dog can also join you on a leash in the other areas of the park.

Southeast Bellaire

The southeastern tip of Bellaire, Texas is just over 20 miles from central Manvel, and this area is also where you and Sparky will find the Officer Lucy Dog Park. This off-leash park is fenced in, and it features an area for dogs who weigh less than 20 pounds, as well as a section for bigger dogs. Officer Lucy Dog Park is only about half an acre in size, but it's packed with all of the amenities that make a dog park so great! There are small pools set up where dogs can swim, as well as water fountains, waste disposal supplies, seating, and shade. This pup paradise is open from 5 AM to 9:30 PM every day, and it's free to use.

Villages Of Avalon

Less than 20 miles northwest of Manvel sits the Pawm Springs Dog Park in southwest Sugar Land, Texas. This off-leash dog park sits on six acres of land, and it's designed to mimic the resort lifestyle of Palm Springs, California. There's a large dog section with a swimming pond, as well as a separate area just for little dogs. Surrounding the swimming area are loungers for humans, and there are palm tree water spray features and lush, tropical landscaping. Pawm Springs Dog Park also features agility equipment so your dog can show off their special skills, as well as benches, waste disposal items, and shaded areas.
