Welcome home to Bridgewater! The neighborhood that is home to Mason Road Park, a big hit with the local pooches, and their owners, too! It offers a paved trail that surrounds the entire park, which is lined with growing trees. Pack a lunch, as there are a number of picnic tables scattered throughout for you to sit and eat at! The park itself has a beautiful gazebo surrounded by hedges and other greenery. A perfect place to spend some time outdoors with your pooch! Run, play fetch, or chase each other, as off leash is allowed here for well behaved dogs.

Katy North

Katy North is one of the largest neighborhoods in Katy, and it offers parks suitable for its size. Therefore, residents and their pups have lots of land to explore! Katy Park is full of sports fields that are lined with trails for you and your dog to wander along, and maybe watch a game while doing so! Gazebos and benches can be found here as well for your viewing enjoyment. Mary Jo Peckham Park is another great park with lots of treed areas and open clearings to utilize! Situated at Mary Jo Peckham Park is the City of Katy Dog Park, an unfenced, off leash dog park with fountains, a pool, a dog wash off area, and washrooms. Walking trails and benches can be found here as well!

Williamsburg Parish

Do you and your dog love to walk? Hike? Run? Bike? You can do all of this right in your very own neighborhood! Williamsburg Parish is home to Mason Creek South Hike and Bike Trail, a large green space with trails to explore, shaded areas to rest, and simply a place to have a great time together. In the center of this large park is a body of water where you can take a break from your stroll and throw a stick or ball into the water for your dog to fetch! If you have a swimmer on your paws, this is a great place to let him splash around and play before you hit the trails again!

Katy Mills

This neighborhood in Katy offers food and hotels that love when your pup tags along! Catch dinner at the Texas Mesquite Grill, where Tex-Mex favorites can be enjoyed on a the restaurant’s dog friendly patio. For an after dinner drink, head to the microbrewery No Label Brewing Co., where your dog is welcome to come in, so long as he remains leashed. When you need a place to lay your heads, check out Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston/ Katy Mills Mall where your pup is welcome with a refundable deposit. Residence Inn by Marriott Houston Katy Mills just down the road also allows your dog for a fee.

Mayde Creek

This neighborhood is one of many that give residents of Houston, and neighboring Katy, access to Cullen Park. This 26,000 acre area is host to a myriad of fun activities and spaces to explore. Ball fields can be romped in between games, while picnic tables and grills provide a nice space for an outdoor meal. Once paved trail runs for over 3 miles and takes you past a historic cemetary. Another five miles of trails are available in other areas, including along the Mayde Creek. There is also a water playground for cooling off. Attached to the park is the Bear Creek Pioneers Park, which offers another 2100 acres of outdoor adventure.
