Adam Heights
Adam Heights is in the northern part of Aberdeen. Close to I-95, this neighborhood is the pawfect place for commuters who want to cut down on some of the time it takes them to get from work back home to their favorite pup. Carsins Run is a lovely spring that runs throughout the neighborhood, with plenty of beautiful things to see and splash around in on a hot day in summer. The green areas in between apartment buildings and housing developments will have your dog’s tail wagging long before he gets out of the car! Just make sure you have towels and waste bags if you plan on doing any serious splashing around here.

Aberdeen Hills
Aberdeen Hills is a pretty neighborhood just south of Adam Heights, about five minutes from the center of town. It is here you will find Aberdeen Festival Park, North Deen Park, Mullins Park, and Gashey’s Creek. All of these beautiful outdoor areas give you plenty of choices when trying to decide where you want to take your dog on a Saturday morning. Your dog walker will be thrilled to visit you in Aberdeen Hills, as there are so many paths to choose from for an invigorating walk with your best pal. Just make sure your dog is ready to mind his manners around all the other dogs who enjoy this popular area.

Bulle Rock
Bulle Rock is best known for the Bulle Golf Course. However, since your dog isn’t allowed in, you will have to settle for some of the most beautiful walks through the residential streets found in the area. Your dog will have his choice of any number of picnic areas and open park lands for walking, running, fetching, and rolling the day away with his favorite human. You will need to keep your waste bags with you and make sure you leave the grass here as green and clean as you found it before you head to your next stop for the day.

Perrywood
Perrywood is another quiet and beautiful neighborhood found in Aberdeen. This place is a great place to be a dog, with plenty of trees to inspect and gardens to sniff, and even squirrels to chase! Victory Street Park is a lovely place to start your morning with a quick stroll or a game of fetch to get everyone moving and excited for the day ahead. Perryman Park is another wonderful green space that you can take your dog to for a walk or to chase around some tennis balls for a little while. Either way, your dog will be incredibly excited to see his leash come out in Perrywood.

Aberdeen Proving Grounds
Aberdeen Proving Grounds is mostly known for the government base that is built here. However, there are some residential areas around the grounds where employees and residents enjoy room for their dogs to come out and play the day away every chance that they get. There is a local Burger King with outdoor seating where you can grab a quick bite. While dogs are not allowed at the APG Golf Course, you can head right next door to the Shinefield Recreation Center, where your dog is more than welcome as long as you have a leash and plenty of clean-up bags. You and Fido are sure to have a furrific time here!
