Havre De Grace Town Center

The Havre De Grace Town Center isn't only known for its busy shopping district, but its beautiful views of the Susquehanna River. It's no surprise that the Jean S. Roberts Memorial Park is right along the river, offering .9 acres of open space for activities, such as fishing. The park is open from 6 AM to 10 PM, and allows leashed pups in the park, with additional amenities like a boat launch, picnic shelter, water fountains, clean-up stations, and pavilion. The Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park is also along the water, and features a paved greenway, small beach area, dock, pavilion and open grassy areas. Whether fishing, swimming or enjoying a walk, Fido will be welcome here.

Southern Havre De Grace

Southern Havre De Grace provides the residential homes in the area with gorgeous views of the bay and river nearby. There's also plenty of green space, like the area that belongs to Tydings Park, a 22-acre park that has a playground, shaded walking paths, gazebo, and picnic area. The serene area offers the most peaceful place in the neighborhood to walk Fido, with access to clean-up bags and water fountains. Todd Park is also in the community and provides residents and pups a large open space to run around and play, with a grassy terrain that is surrounded by oak trees. Don't forget to leash up Fido before coming here!

Rock Run

Rock Run is a pretty rural neighborhood, with a few residential homes and thick forests scattered throughout. The Susquehanna State Park is also located here and includes over 1,000 acres of land along the Susquehanna River. The protected park is open from 9 AM to sunset, with river access for fishing, swimming, and boating. There are over 7 different trails that are combined to make up more than 12 miles of paths made from concrete and dirt. These trails connect picnic areas, open areas, and historic sites. Dogs are not required to be on a leash inside the park, although the area is not fenced-in. You can also enjoy the camping site, fishing spot and other amenities, like water fountains and benches.

Central Aberdeen

Central Aberdeen is a neighborhood in the town of Aberdeen, only 1.5 miles from Havre de Grace. The small neighborhood is popular with visitors thanks to the Aberdeen Dog Park. This park is completely fenced-in, covered with large trees that provide lots of shade, and feature paved paths, separate areas for large and small dogs, and an agility course. Dogs can also enjoy a large bin of free toys, water fountains with dog bowls, clean-up stations, double-gated entrances, and benches. The dog park sits in the larger park of Victory Street Park, with is also dog-friendly, as long as pups stay on a leash outside the off-leash area. This park provides additional space and longer paths for a walk with Fido.
