Suncoast Trail is a multipurpose trail that is one of over 1,600 rail-trails in the Rails-to-Trail Conservancy. You’ll find bikers, skaters, rollerbladers, joggers, and walkers on Suncoast Trail, and dogs are welcome on the contingency that they are leashed, friendly, and cleaned up after by loving pet parents.
You and your pooch can satisfy your hunger while supporting your local farmers at Local Roots Café & Coffee House. Indulge in farm-fresh eggs and fresh-baked pastries and bread at breakfast, or split a sandwich with Fido during lunchtime. Do you need gluten-free or sugar-free options? No problem! Local Roots will cater to your needs. Dogs are more than welcome at Local Roots, but can only be seated in the outdoor dining area.
Campers Holiday is a dog-friendly campground that has 66 paved RV sites nestled in towering trees that provide wonderful shade. A lake, screened-in pavilion, heated/cooled pool, playground, shuffleboard area, horseshoes area, fishing areas, restrooms, shower house, and more are provided during your stay. Rates start at $35, not including a pet fee. There is a few rules, including a two pet limit per site, and all pets must be leashed when outside.
