Ross Addition is one of the central neighborhoods in Dade City, featuring Naomi Jones Pyracantha Park and a wide variety of eateries concentrated on 6th and 7th streets. If you travel just a bit farther toward downtown, you will spot Dade City Dog Park, a wonderful, although small, area to hang out with the locals and have fun off-leash! The fenced dog park has a double-gated entry and water fountains, but they may be out of order during certain times of the year. Athletic activities on an empty stomach are never a good idea. Come back to 7th Street to enjoy a variety of soups, sandwiches and sweet treats at Garden Café, with several outdoor tables for pups.

Plantation Palms
Plantation Palms is one of many neighborhoods in Land O’Lakes complete with middle-class residential quarters, an expansive golf club, and several cafes to keep the hounds and humans happy. Just north of the neighborhood, you will spot Land O’Lakes Recreation Center, which, apart from being a great place to enjoy a day with your family, also houses a dog park! The park has a wonderful fenced playground to play fetch or run with the locals. The area is usually packed from 6 pm onwards, so if your pup is a social butterfly, visit in the evening so he can make some new friends! Don't forget the water and waste bags.

Lutz is a small town in Hillsborough County located about 30 miles southwest of Zephyrhills. The downtown area is centered on Lutz Lake and is home to Lutz Branch Library. Carolyn Meeker Dog Park, located at the very heart of Lutz, is an expansive and beautiful dog park with a designated parking lot, double-gated entrance, and two separate sections for small and large breeds. The park is hidden behind the facilities and residential quarters on West Lutz Lake Fern Road, which makes it difficult to find the first time. But once you are there, get ready to have a blast! And don't forget to bring those waste bags!

East Baker Street
The eastern part of Plant City, located just under 30 minutes away from Zephyrhills, features residential quarters and several recreation areas, one of which is dedicated entirely to pooches! Plant City Dog Park at North Pennsylvania Avenue is a pawpular place for dog owners and their fur babies to play off-leash, catching a ball or running through tunnels! The expansive doggy spot is split into two separate sections so the tiny Chihuahuas won't have to worry about getting trampled by a colossal Mastiff. Water and waste baggies are both provided at this furrific park, so all you need to do is BYOB -- bring your own beast!

Temple Terrace is a town in Hillsborough County, just north of Tampa and 18 miles south of Zephyrhills, Florida. The eastern part of the town starts where Temple Terrace Highway and Harney Road meet each other. If you follow the lead of Harney Road farther east and leave behind I-75, Temple Terrace Hilltop Dog Park will welcome you to stretch your legs and have some off-leash fun with your fur baby. The great location and easy access to the water are some of the many benefits of the park. You can play with the locals in the designated area, especially in the evening, or you can explore the trails. Dogs must be leashed outside of the dog park.
