Hello! My name is Allan. I'm from California, now living in Florida. I grew up with a Papillon, Shi Tzu-Maltese, and an English Bulldog and am now currently living with two wonderful Pitbulls (one being part labrador). I've always enjoyed playing with dogs and pups alike, my friends' dogs have always shown a positive attitude with me and I gladly show the just as much love! I once saved a lost dog and gave it a temporary home until the owners saw the lost dog posters I made. It would be an honor to meet your dog and take care of them!
Citizens and visitors of Brandon, Florida will not escape the pleasant sight of our furry friends. Hillsborough County has always had a large and varied animal population ranging from cats and dogs to more exotic pets. Therefore, there are plenty of amenities suited for dogs. One hint of advice, however: The county has one of the largest flea populations in the US so be sure to have your beloved pet vaccinated!
The first stop for you and your dog is the Mango Dog Park, located in the neighboring suburb of Seffner. This well-maintained dog park is a favorite among the Brandon locals due to its proximity and cleanliness. The park is easily accessible from the I-4 and offers plenty of parking space. Dogs get an even more royal treatment with a vast expanse of grassy areas and several dog pools to cool off after playing under the hot summer sun.
If you happen to visit the Tampa Bay area with your dog, check out the Picnic Island Beach Dog Park, which offers ample entertainment for you and your four-legged partner. The park itself is a great opportunity to slow down and enjoy a picnic with the family while the rocky beach is a marvelous attraction for dogs.
To conclude it all, Brandon, Florida offers a bright and friendly environment for all dogs alike!
