Brandon Parkway

Brandon Parkway Trail is constantly used by local athletes to walk, run and train. The path is also lighted so you can even walk or run here at night. In addition to the lights, the path winds through the beautiful, scenic areas of Brandon. It spans approximately three miles so it can be quite a workout. You will see bodies of water like ponds, ducks, cows and all sorts of animals. Plus, since the path is very popular among locals, you will likely run into other dogs and their owners. King's Court

If you need a good old-fashioned day at the park, you’re in the right place. Simply head to All Persons Rotary Park where you will find plenty of open spaces, a large playground and lots of shade. Unfortunately it is not an off-leash park. It is, however, a park that allows dogs. In this case, you have to bring your own leash and doggie poop bags. Because there is such a large number of children at the park at all times you will have to keep an eye on your dog. However, don’t think you can’t have fun. Bring your dog with you and walk through the park for some exercise!

Tampa

At only a 12-mile drive from Brandon, Tampa is well worth the trip. The city is home to nine dog parks and many other dog-friendly parks. If you go to Tampa, you will also be able to go to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, Clearwater Beach. Since you cannot see everything in Tampa in one day, you can make frequent trips. Your dog will be extremely excited at every outing! Start by going to the dog parks, then go to the dog-friendly beaches. Once you have been to all the parks, head to the beach for a relaxing day of fun in the sun.

Seffner

The city of Seffner is a little less than 8 miles from Brandon. Steffer is home to only one dog park, Mango Dog Park. This dog park is separated into two zones: one zone for big dogs and the other one for small dogs. There is also a large shaded patio area for dog owners to sit and relax under. Furthermore, the park is very well-maintained and contains many amenities, such as large numbers of water bowls for dogs which are routinely filled. Lastly the dog park is off-leash so your dog can run around as much as he wants!

Apollo Beach

Apollo Beach is only an 18-mile drive from Brandon and is home to Apollo Beach Dog Park. This park has two large sections: one for large dogs and the other for small dogs. The park also has plenty of shady spots for pet owners to sit and relax. Furthermore, the park has plenty of agility equipment for dogs, such as tunnels and obstacle courses. Because the dog park is situated within a residential area, you will often see locals and might even make some friends! Lastly, since this is an off-leash park, so feel free to leave the leash at home!
