Beach Club Estates
This lovely neighborhood is home to Apollo Beach itself. This furtastic beach welcomes dogs on-leash. While you’re here, you can go for walks on the white sand or dips in the Gulf of Mexico. You can also enjoy a picnic at one of the beach’s picnic tables. There are doggy waste stations located around the beach, but be sure to bring water with you for your pup. After exploring the beach, continue your fun day out with lunch at Circles Tiki Bar. This laidback beachfront restaurant welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and they serve freshly caught Florida seafood, including grouper, mahi-mahi, and coconut shrimp.

If you’re looking for a great off-leash area for your pup, check out Apollo Beach Dog Park. This dog park has separate fenced areas for big and small dogs to play in. Both areas have large fields where your pup can run, sniff, and make new friends. There are also fun tunnels for your dog to run through. While your dog plays, you can sit and watch from one of the park’s shady pavilions. If you or your dog get thirsty, dog and human water fountains are available. if your dog gets messy while they’re playing, there are also dog showers in the park. Your pup will love playing in this park!

Tampa’s Downtown neighborhood is home to the pawsitively amazing Palma Ceia Dog Park. Located 21 miles from Apollo Beach, this off-leash park has one large, fenced-in area where dogs can play and meet other pups. There are plenty of trees throughout the park to protect your dog from the hot Florida sun. Water is also available for your pup. Your dog will always enjoy running and playing in this park! If you’re hungry after all that playing, check out Nature’s Table. This casual café welcomes dogs at their three outdoor tables. They offer breakfast burritos, gourmet sandwiches, salads, wraps, and much more.

If you’re searching for another great off-leash area for your pup, head to Dr. Ott’s Dog Park. This dog park is just six miles from Apollo Beach, and it has separate areas for large and small pups. These areas are both fully fenced, keeping your dog safe and secure while they play. Both areas are shady and cool, and there are lots of picnic tables for owners to sit at while their dogs play. Robinson Preserve
Bradenton's picturesque Robinson Preserve is a waterfront park that welcomes dogs on-leash. This 487-acre preserve is located about 32 miles from Apollo Beach, and it has lovely boardwalk trails that go by the Manatee River. As you walk on the boardwalk, you’ll see beautiful mangroves and wetland habitats filled with wildlife. Bring water and doggy bags, and have a good time hiking here with your dog. After the dog park, treat your pup to a new toy or a snack at The Bradenton Hound. This local pet store makes their own all-natural dog treats, and they also sell a wide variety of toys and accessories. Your pup will love shopping here!
