Located about six miles from Wimauma, this dog park has separate areas for large and small dogs to play in. Both areas are fenced in and feature large grassy fields. The park also has plastic kiddie pools your dog can splash around on hot days, and there’s drinking water available. While your dog plays, you can sit and watch on the dog park’s fun swinging bench. You and your dog will both have a great time in this furrific park!
Bal Harbor is home to Apollo Beach, where dogs are welcome on-leash. This beautiful beach is only 15 miles from Wimauma, and it offers stunning views of Tampa Bay. There are also picnic tables where you can enjoy an al fresco meal with your dog. If you want to let your dog play off-leash after you’re done at the beach, head over to nearby Apollo Beach Dog Park. This off-leash area has separate large and small dog areas. There are fun tunnels here for your dog to crawl through, and the park also provides kiddie pools for them to play in. Davis Islands is home to the always fun Davis Island Dog Park. This park is about 33 miles from Wimauma, and it includes two separate areas: a fenced-in, grassy field and a beach where dogs can play off-leash.
