Discher Park is a 13-acre park in northern Horicon, and while it may not be an off-leash park, it's a fun place to bring your dog for some on-leash fun. One portion of the park consists of an aquatic center, concession stand, and picnic areas. A second section has sports courts and playgrounds, and the third section has baseball and football fields. The Wild Goose State Trail runs through Dodge County, and one of the places you can access the trail is in Burnett, Wisconsin, which is less than 20 miles from Horicon. Most of this 34-mile trail is paved, making it an ideal path for cyclists, joggers, inline skaters, and dog walkers. Your dog will need to remain on a leash along the Wild Goose State Trail, and during your trek, you and your dog will cross farms, marshes, chipmunks and other wildlife, and plenty of other exciting sights. This is where you'll find the West Bend Dog Park, which is part of Rolf's Park, a 39-acre city park. The West Bend Dog Park takes up ten acres of Rolf's Park, and it is completely fenced with a general area as well as a separate small dog area. You and your dog will get to enjoy open fields, wooded areas, several trails, and hills while you're at the park. A membership fee is required to play here, and be sure to bring drinking water for your pooch.

The northwestern corner of the city is less than 30 miles from Horicon, and that's where the FIDO (Friends in Dog Ownership) Dog Park can be found. There's a lot to love about this park, and many visitors remark at just how clean and well-maintained it is. Dogs have a general area where canines of any weight can interact, and there's a separate small dog enclosure as well. There's also seating and waste disposal supplies provided by the park, but make sure you bring your own water supply.
