Dog Areas in Newport, AR

1 Park
2 Eateries

Newport is a pupperific town in Arkansas where you can enjoy parks and scenic walks with your energetic best friend. Normandy Acres Park is just one of these amazing parks where you can bring your waste bags and tennis balls for a fun and exciting afternoon in the grass. Crossroads Park is another local green space where dogs are welcome on-leash as long as they are on their best behavior. Your dog needs to be comfortable sharing the grass in either of these puptastic spots so that no one gets overly anxious on busier days when families and other pups are hanging out together.

There is one animal hospital in Newport that will meet all of your pup's needs, whether you are looking for a place to get your dog microchipped, have a basic exam done, or in need of more specialized care options to keep your dog happy and healthy. You will find that keeping your dog on a leash and near you at all times is necessary while in Newport. The sidewalks can get busy and full of other dog walkers, so be prepared to share the sidewalks and make sure you give your dog some extra space if she needs it.
