Colonial Park

A pleasant area and a welcoming disposition, Colonial Park is an ideal location to be. The neighborhood is named after its lovely park, Colonial Park, located toward the southern bounds of the area. The park features open, grassy fields and occasional trees planted along a scenic walking trail. Dogs are welcome, as long as they’re leashed, so take your pup down for a pleasant, shaded stroll through this natural area. Games and other events are occasionally held here, so be sure to check if your dog isn’t very good with crowds. You and your dog will definitely have a pawsome time!

Marion

Marion is a lovely local neighborhood set in the heart of the city with easy access to the freeway. Tucked away in Marion is Brunetti Park, a gorgeous green area with strategically placed trees along a scenic trail. Properly leashed dogs are welcome, and there’s even an open field perfect for you and your pup to explore. The park offers plenty of shade and benches for resting, so you can take your time and rest as needed. Children frequent this park, so keep an eye out if your dog isn’t very good with kids. Remember to bring water for you and the pooch!

River Trace

For a gorgeous scenic area, River Trace is simply the place to be. The centerpiece of this neighborhood is the lovely green City Park, which wraps around a lake and features a river that runs through it. The shimmering waters add to the wonderful view, and pups are welcome so long as you keep them on a leash. Remember to bring fresh water for yourself and your pooch so you have it easily at the ready. Waterfowl frequent the area, so be sure to keep a lookout if your dog is inclined to chase. You’re certain to have a wonderful time exploring this natural spot.

City Center

City Center is a bustling spot that’s tucked in the heart of Marion. It’s home to K&R Park, a quaint area with some shade trees and a short walking trail that travels along the outer edges of the area. There’s an open field ideal for running and playing, just remember to keep your pup on a secure leash at all times. Occasional picnic benches can be found in the shade, ideal for relaxing breaks. Remember to bring enough water for both you and your pup! You’re sure to have a pawtastic time traveling through this gorgeous natural spot with your favorite pooch.

Richland

Just ten minutes away in the nearby city of West Memphis, Richland is a simply gorgeous place to be. Located at the western end is Tilden Rodgers Park, a breathtaking green area that sports a sizable lake and many playing fields. A walking path friendly to leashed dogs circles around this lake, offering beautiful scenery and fantastic views of the rippling water. Waterfowl frequent this park, so keep watch for them if your dog has a tendency to chase. There’s plenty of shade and a lot of room to run, so this is a great place to bring your more energetic dogs.
