SkiMo’s Restaurant and Bar has a casual atmosphere and offers numerous types of food, including pizza, burgers, steaks, and seafood. Their outdoor patio is 100% dog friendly, and on some nights, you can catch live music or the big game on their numerous televisions. After a good meal, be sure to walk down to Gray’s Creek, which is only a few blocks from the restaurant, and enjoy the view before heading home for the night.

Country Wood South

Country Wood South is home to Fletcher Creek Park, a pawsome park that your pup is dying to visit for a great walk or jog. Fletcher Creek Park is a beautiful forested park that your dog can wander around and sniff. There is a covered picnic area and a large field that is perfect for fetch. There is also a creek on site that runs through the park. A boardwalk over the creek means that you and your pooch can enjoy the creek, but not get wet if you don’t want to. Shelby Farms Park is on the outskirts of Cordova in Memphis, but your pup would love the drive there. Shelby Farms has so many amenities for dogs your pup won’t know where to start. The park features numerous walking and jogging paths throughout the forested area and has picnic tables for relaxing. Throughout the park, there are several lakes and ponds to splash around in, and one whole section of the park is specially dedicated for dogs. In the dog section of the park, your pooch can run around off-leash and play in the two lakes that are provided for them. Locals love Shelby Farms and said it was like their pups were in heaven when they visited.
