The Oakland Town Park has a 1300-foot paved walking trail just waiting for you and your pup to get your leash and go walking. The trail takes you around a pond which is stocked with fish. Your pup is sure to enjoy a sniff-tastic adventure at the water's edge as he plays with the fish, or takes a plunge to cool off on a hot summer's day. The park has a puptastic walking trail that leads to the Collierville Greenbelt system, allowing you to walk all the way to the W.C. Johnson Park. Just eighteen miles from Oakland in Lakeland is the Zadie E. Kuehl Memorial Park. This three-acre park has a rolling surface and landscaping that is very inviting. Plenty of trees and open space is an enticing playground for your pup. The park offers a dog-tastic 1/5-mile paved trail that's perfect for a great leashed walk. Only 26 miles from Oakland in Germantown, the Cameron Brown Park features excellent playgrounds, a picturesque walking path, and a small pond.
