City Center
Cottonwood Park in the City Center of Wynne offers nice paved walkways where you can get out and stretch your legs with your pup. There are a variety of shade trees perfect for strolling through the park on a sunny day, and when you need a break, relax on one of the benches. There is a small playground available if you are out with the kids, and you can pack a lunch and eat at the picnic tables while enjoying the weather. You will need to provide your own doggie waste bags and dispose of trash in the convenient receptacles.

Route 64/ Falls Blvd N
Lined with large mature trees, the Malone Street Park offers a wonderful place to walk with your pup and spend time with the kids. The paved walkway makes it easy to push a stroller as you and Fido stroll through the park and admire the trees. Your pooch can roll around in the grass while you relax on one of the shaded benches. There is a small playground for the kids, and plenty of trash cans where you can dispose of your doggie waste bags. Just be sure to bring your own water bottles, especially if it is a warm day.

Southeast Wynne
The Village Creek State Park is a pup-friendly destination where you can enjoy hiking and fishing. With over seven miles of trails, you can find the perfect hike for you and your pooch. While strolling through the paths, you will come across two different lakes where you can fish or just relax and enjoy the water. You will need to keep your pup on a leash. The park is also equestrian friendly and you will probably see horse riders out exploring the area. If you want to go camping, there is a pooch-friendly RV Park and Campground with friendly staff and a dog play area in the Village Creek State Park campground.

Parkin
About 15 miles from Wynne, the Parkin Archeological State Park is a great place to learn about local history and walk your pup. If you are looking for a fun adventure, the historical Indian Mound site allows pups to walk around with their parents while reading about ancient life. There are picnic tables located throughout the grounds where you can enjoy a picnic, or just spend your time walking the paved path and getting some exercise. The kids can get rid of some energy on the playground, and there are restrooms available and a water fountain where you can refill your water bottles.
Forrest City
Just 20 minutes south of Wynne, the Stuart Springs Park in the center of Forrest City is a great destination for Fido and the family. You can stroll through the park and admire the gardens, or let your pup roll around in the grass and have a snifftastic time. The kids can run around the playground while you enjoy lunch at the picnic pavilions. If you need a place to stay while visiting the area, Days Inn and America’s Best Value Inn both welcome two pups for an additional fee. Another option for a pooch-friendly hotel is the Colony Inn where the friendly staff goes the extra mile to make sure two and four-legged guests are comfortable and happy.
