This beautiful beach allows dogs on-leash anytime, and they’re allowed off-leash before 10:00 AM and after 4:00 PM. Your pup will love running and playing in the sand and splashing in the cool water of the Pacific Ocean! After you’re finished at the beach, continue your fun day out with lunch at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery. This taproom and restaurant allows dogs at their beer garden, and they even have treats available for your pup! Looking for a place where your dog can play off-leash? Check out Scotts Valley Bark Park, which is just seven miles from Ben Lomond. This 1.2-acre park has separate areas for large dogs and small/shy dogs. Both areas are covered in mulch, and they have plenty of space for your pup to run and play. This dog park is about 17 miles from Ben Lomond, and it has separate large and small dog areas. Both areas are fenced and covered in wood chips, and there’s tons of space for pups to run around. There are also lots of benches for owners, and there are water fountains for your pup. If you want to go for a snack after the dog park, check out the Red Apple Café. This casual café welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and the wait staff will bring water for your dog. As your dog enjoys their drink, you can dine on tasty sandwiches, omelets, burgers, and more.
