Maronda
Thornby Park is a 37-acre retreat from the world in the Maronda neighborhood of Deltona. Though there is a small playground on site, the main draw is the gorgeous nature trail. Your leashed dog is welcome to accompany you as you step into a tree lined path and leave the stress of the city behind you. There’s plenty of exploring to do in this large park, so plan accordingly. Though the main park section has fountains, bringing your own water for nature walking is a plus. Remember to bring a doggie bowl too, so your dog can cool down with you!

Jung
Keysville Dog Park is located inside Keysville Park in this neighborhood. The area is divided into fenced in areas for large and small dogs. There’s also a third area that’s useful for dogs who need exercise, but aren’t yet social enough to mix freely with the others. The areas have some simple play equipment like agility tunnels. The main perk is the doggie rinse station! Your dog may get dirty, but you don’t have to worry about taking him home that way! There’s another feature that dog lovers will rave about: this park puts benches inside the play area!

Enterprise
Green Springs Park features a green-hued sulfur spring. It’s no mystery where this park gets its name! If you want to bring your dog to explore the park, be sure to keep him on leash, as you don’t want your best friend getting into anything here! There are walking trails throughout the park that offer good views and a chance to stretch your legs. Your dog will adore the heavy smells in the air as the sign that he’s really on an adventure now! Your dog will not appreciate the interesting architecture or remains of an old health spa on the grounds, but you will find plenty to look at during your walk!

Poinsettia Park
Audubon Park is a gorgeous place to walk your dog. If your pup doesn’t enjoy watching kids play on the playground, this is park to get away from all of that. You can follow a nature trail down to a boardwalk over the swamp, which opens up on the other side to a large meadow area. Just going there and back could be a trip for dogs who don’t need a lot of exercise. If that’s just a warm up for your pup, don’t fear! Audubon Park has more than enough room for a walk through the meadow to really work out that energy!

Kensington Estates
Kensington Estates features Campbell Park. This community oriented park is dedicated to providing plenty of space for people to exercise and children to play. While your dog won’t enjoy the playground, she could have a great time exploring the soccer fields when they’re not in use! You can also walk the paths through the park to get in your pet’s exercise for the day! This park isn’t the largest, but its convenient location makes it a favorite of the neighborhood. You should keep your dog on leash inside the park. Remember to bring a water bowl for your dog, as the fountains are human sized.
