The Vista's
Just over two miles from Orange City is a neighborhood in DeBary called The Vista's, and this is the place to go if your pooch could do with an off-lead run. The Vista's is where you will find the 210 acre Gemini Springs Park, which is not only home to two springs, playgrounds, and picnic areas, but also to the fully fenced-off Gemini Springs Dog Park. At 4.5 acres in size, this is quite a large dog park, and features separate areas for smaller and larger dogs. There are dog washing stations, doggie water fountains and picnic benches dotted throughout the park, but you will still need to bring your own doggie bags with you.

Howland Blvd/ E Graves Ave
About three miles from Orange City lies the Howland Blvd/ E Graves Ave neighborhood of Deltona, where you will find another pawsome dog park for your pooch to play and socialize in. This park is known as the Keysville Dog Park, and boasts an impressive 14 acres of greenery for you and your pup to explore. There are separate fenced-off areas here for small and large dogs, as well as an extra fenced section with doggie watering stations. It takes about seven minutes to drive from Orange City to the Deltona neighborhood of Elkcam Blvd/ Howland Blvd, but the drive is worth it since it will take you to the 360 acre Lyonia Preserve. This preserve is famous for being home to the threatened Florida scrub-jay, and also boasts a wide range of other wildlife species. There are just over two miles of walking trails that you and Fido can explore here, and these loop their way around the park, encompassing the preserve's highest point, meaning that you will be rewarded with some incredible views. Since there is a high concentration of important plant and animal life living within the preserve, make sure that you keep Fido on a lead at all times.
