I am a lifelong animal lover and a full fledged "dog-person." I have been caring for my own animals with a passion since I was very young. Providing a safe and fun space for pets who are unable to travel with their families and may become anxious in a cramped kennel, is a big focus for me. I always encourage pets to be as active as possible. Which means your pet will enjoy lots of playtime, walks and runs! Your pet will feel right at home, as I always put the needs of the animals above all else. They will be safe and happy with me!

Dog Walking in Orange City

A city with a relaxing, small town vibe, Orange City is hospitable and charming, and offers up both urban and rural activities. With numerous parks, two veterinary clinics, and several dog-friendly restaurants and hotels to choose from, this is a city that is truly welcoming to both humans and canines.

The public parks in Orange City provide some great dog walking spots, with one of the most popular being Mill Lake Park, which is also one of the newest parks in the city. Complete with a splash pad, picnic pavilions, lake views and a one mile paved walking path, your pooch will love this action-packed park. Other parks worth checking out include the Oak Avenue Park, which is known for being quite the botanical haven, and Valentine Park, which is home to sports facilities, a playground, picnic pavilions, grills and a nature trail.

If your pooch would prefer an off-lead run, Orange City is also home to the Waggin' Trail Dog Park. This fenced-off dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs, as well as shade structures and benches for owners to socialize, but you will need to bring your own doggie bags and drinking water.

For pups who enjoy restaurant meals, give one of Orange City's dog-friendly restaurants a try. Five Guys serves up burgers, hot dogs and more, while the Red Roof Café has a picturesque outdoor courtyard where dogs can dine with their owners.

With so much for you and your dog to see and do, Orange City is a destination that will definitely not disappoint.
