South Semoran

Barber Park can be found less than 30 miles from Geneva in the central-Orlando area known as South Semoran. Within Barber Park is Barber Dog Park, a spacious off-leash dog park that includes a section for dogs who weigh less than 30 pounds, as well as an area for bigger dogs. There is also agility equipment in the park, as well as water fountains, waste disposal supplies, seating, and shade. The rest of the 81 acres of Barber Park has sports fields, playgrounds, fishing, walking trails, picnic areas, and other activities you can enjoy with your dog if they're on a leash.

Avalon Park

The Avalon Dog Park in eastern Orlando is just 20 miles from Geneva. This lovely dog park doesn't have separate big and small dog sections, but there's a variety of other amenities that make this such a pawesome place. Throughout the park, there are tires set up for dogs to play on, and there are small plastic pools set up for dogs to cool off in on especially hot days. There are also water fountains, several benches, waste disposal supplies, and trees throughout the park. Visitors note that Avalon Dog Park regulars are known to be friendly and welcoming to newcomers!

Union Park

Downey Park is less than 20 miles from Geneva in the northeastern Orlando area known as Union Park. Downey Park is a 47-acre park that includes a splash pad, sports fields, picnic spots, a large lake, and the Downey Dog Park! This off-leash park is a long space that includes big and small dog sections, and it's a good park for dogs who love to chase a ball. There are double-gated entryways as an added safety measure, and there are also doggy time-out areas in the big dog section, too. You'll also find water fountains, waste removal supplies, and benches in the Downey Dog Park.

West Colonial

The northwestern Orlando area known as West Colonial is about 30 miles from Geneva, and this is where you and Sparky will find Barnett Dog Park. It's part of the larger Barnett Park, which is a 159-acre recreational facility with sports courts, splash pads, playgrounds, rental pavilions, and much more. The off-leash dog park is separated into big and small dog sections, and there's a walking trail that runs between the sections. There's covered seating, water, and doggy bags in the off-leash park. You can also walk your dog throughout other areas of Barnett Park as long as they're on a leash.

Historic Sanford

There's another superb off-leash park that's only a 15-minute drive from Geneva, and this one can be found in northern Sanford, Florida. The Paw Park of Historic Sanford was recently voted one of the top ten best dog parks in the United States, and it isn't hard to see why! There are separate sections for big and small dogs, dog showers, self-watering bowls, and much more. This park was built in 2001, and it also includes equipment for dogs to climb and play on, and there are plastic swimming pools set up for dogs, too! The Paw Park has a double-gated entry system, and the park is ADA accessible.
