South Jackson

The Dauset Trails Nature Center is a pawsome area to visit with Fido. There are over 20-miles of trails that you and your dog can hike along, as long as you keep your pup on a leash. They offer both a beginner, intermediate and advanced trails so any skill level of hiker can enjoy them. The Dauset Trails Nature Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and it is free to explore with your dog. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags along with you when you come and visit.

City Center

Head to Griffin and check out City Park, aka Municipal Park. The park holds amazing amenities like two softball fields, a skate park, and an open grass area where you can place fetch. Take a walk along the paved path around the park with your furry pal. The Airport Road Park is a beautiful park that offers a playground, benches, tons of grass, and plenty of shade. Your dog will love checking out the Third Ward Park in Griffin with you. This huge park is the best park to go to if you're looking to get some exercise in with Fido and enjoy your day out. With hills to climb, and a great walking trail around and throughout the park, your dog will love exploring every inch of this area. The park also offers benches, a shade shelter, and tons of grass to roll on. East Jackson

Head over to Daughtry Park, which offers numerous sports fields, including a basketball court and baseball diamond, plus a ton of grass where you can play fetch. There is a paved trail that goes throughout the park where you and your pup can walk along together.
