Central McDonough
This dog-friendly neighborhood is home to Alexander Dog Park. At this dog park pooches are allowed to play off their leash to their heart’s content. Agility equipment is also available for some training or just a little extra fun. There’s plenty of green grass for your dog to romp and roll around in. Since this park is located near a residential area, it’s the pawfect place to make some new fur-iends! So leave the leash at home, grab some water and bags for clean up, and head on over to Alexander Dog Park for a day full of fun in the Georgia sun!36

Hampton
Hampton is located about 11 miles southwest of McDonough and is the home to North Mt. Carmel Bark Park. This off-leash dog park has a large fenced in area with a lot of lush green grass for your pooch to run around in. If you are worried about where your larger dog can play, there’s an area is for dogs larger than 25 pounds and the other area is for the smaller dogs. There are doggie drinking fountains and benches for the owners to sit on in case you need some respite from the Georgia heat. If your pup gets down and dirty, not to worry.
