Orange City
Do you and your pup love to explore new places? Then head for the Puddle Jumper Trail in Orange City! This is a pawsome two miles sniff-tastic trail that takes you all the way to Alton and you can enjoy the scenery on your way there. Wander through farmland, as well as venture over bridges over the local creek. Some of the trail is shaded by trees when it is hot, but be sure to bring some water for your pooch. There are also benches along the trail where you can sit and enjoy a rest with your furry friend.

Alton
Every pooch loves a trip to the park, which means you have got to visit Alton County Park! This is a pawsome green spot you will find in Alton, which is east and just next door to Orange City. Here you will find lots of green grass for your canine to roll and roam, as well as trees for shade when it is hot outside. There is open space to play fetch with your pup’s favorite ball or Frisbee, as well as sniff-tastic trails you can follow around the park for some exercise. In addition, the Prairie View Campground is just across the street if you like to camp out under the stars.

Sioux Center
If you are looking for some puptastic dog friendly eateries that you can enjoy, head on over to Sioux Center! This puptown is not far away from Orange City and it is home to the pawsome Butlers Café and Coffee. Here you can sit back and relax with a cup of coffee, as well as tuck into some delicious sandwiches and sweet treats. There are also outdoor dog friendly tables where your furry friend can join you. Another place for some lunch is Culver’s! This is the place for getting your paws into some burgers, chicken and seafood, as well as some tasty desserts. Your canine can sit with you while you eat at one of the outdoor tables.

Not far from Orange City, you will find the pawsome puptown of Le Mars! Here you can visit the furrific West Floyd Park with your pooch and enjoy some exercise around the sniff-tastic walking trail. There is plenty of open grass for playing fetch, as well as baseball fields, a disco golf course and a picnic shelter that you can use. If your pooch has been a good boy or girl then you have got to drop into the Dairy Queen for a treat! Not only can you get your paws into some delicious hotdogs, burgers, sandwiches and desserts, but your furry friend can also get a Pup Cup! Plus, there are outdoor tables here where you can sit and relax with your canine.

For a pawsome day out with your pooch, jump in the car and head next door to Le Mars! Here you will find the puptastic Cleveland Park, which makes a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. This green space offers lots of grass for rolling and roaming, as well as trees providing shade when it is hot outside. You can wander around the walking path to stretch your and your pup’s legs, as well as take advantage of the furrific amenities here. This includes a basketball court, playground structure, horseshoe pits, picnic shelters and grill for enjoying a treat.
