The neighborhood's park is perfect for a family-friendly outdoor adventure! You will need to keep Fido on-leash in the central area, near the pavilions and shoreline. Don't fret just yet, though, because off-leash freedom is waiting for them in the designated dog park! Nelson Dog Park is a furrific place! There’s also a double-gated entrance for your comfort, as well as drinking water and shaded seating.

West End is a central neighborhood in Decatur, Illinois, located about 45 minutes west of Bement via IL-105 West. This is a family-friendly district with historical allure and excellent walking trails -- especially in Fairview Park! This extensive green area set on a creek is pawfect for any occasion! The park features a pond, paved walking trails through dense woodlands, a tennis court, and a dog park. Fido Fields is a 2-acre, fenced park designed let your buddy roam and play off-leash with some new pup peers! There are two areas for small and large pooches.
