I have owned dogs in the past and have had wonderful experiences. I have had chihuahuas, husky, pit bulls, and a Rottweiler. I enjoy walking and caring for other dogs because in my house I can not have one due to family having allergies. With the opportunity owners will give me I will be able to introduce the joy that dogs have once given me before! I look forward in meeting and walking your dog!!!

Growing up on a farm my love for animals started at a young age. As an adult I worked at a veterinary clinic for many years. I currently share my life with two dogs and a bird and 2 kittens. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your fur baby. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

My name is Bryan. I’m from Illinois but grew up in the Monee Marengo area. My entire life was I’ve been surrounded by dogs, whether it was ranch dogs, or domestic. I’ve had a lot of experience dealing with a large variety of dogs and how to handle tons of situations with them. My favorite breed of dog are German shepherds. I have a purebred name Meg and a shepherd mix named Bo that I care for and train myself.
Hi, my name is Gerard. I have been walking and training dogs since I was 10. I truly love all animals. I can sense what a dog may be feeling in different situations and can make a quick decision on how to approach the situation at the time using the safest technique. Being patient is my strongest point.
My name is Megan, I have two boys. My oldest is 6 and my youngest is 1. They love having fun and going places. We own a cat her name is Saturday. We love her so much. Hoping to make some extra cash for my family.

Kankakee is the county seat of Kankakee County, located south of Chicago and about 30 miles west of the Illinois-Indiana border. The city may not be a bustling tourist destination, but it's still a furrific place to visit or live with Fido! Kankakee is home to public parks and preserves featuring water views and walking trails. But that’s not all! Kankakee knows how to treat its canine residents, and boasts its own dog park, several pet-friendly eateries, and two veterinary hospitals.
River Run Dog Park is a favorite spot among local dog owners in Kankakee, who often gather here to chat and let their pups play. The locals are friendly, and would be more than happy to welcome you and your pooch to the pack! The park has all the amenities you need, including benches, shade, and drinking water. Please note you'll need to obtain a permit before playing here.
Don't want to bother getting a permit? Don't fret! Bird Park is a public recreation spot right on the banks of Kankakee River, and is a good on-leash alternative to a dog park. There are several walking trails winding through the woods, and some shoreline where you and Sparky can share a picnic.
Kankakee may be a nice place, but it's not the pet-friendliest place in the world. If you want to find a comfortable off-leash park, get ready to travel for about half an hour to Homewood, a village in Cook County and a suburb of Chicago. The southeastern part of the village is home to diverse but sleepy residential quarters, several public parks, and a dog run! Rover’s Run Dog Park is a roomy and fenced dog park with multiple facilities, such as agility equipment, a shade structure, and drinking water. Due to safety reasons, the park requires all doggie visitors to obtain a permit, but the park is worth it!
If you follow the stream of Kankakee River to the northwest, you'll find Midewin National Tall Grass Prairie, a gorgeous nature preserve and an amazing retreat where you can get some fresh air with your furry friend. The preserve has strict rules about pups, and your mutt should be on his best behavior and on-leash at all times. Feel free to walk around and explore the park. If you're looking for something a little more challenging, hit the Wauponsee Glacial Trail path. This is a difficult 23-mile hike winding throughout Will County, from Juliet to Custer Park. Bringing your own drinking water is strongly recommended.
Cottage Street is one of the main arterial streets in the small village of Shorewood. As you're driving through town, you will not be able to miss Hammel Woods, a huge green recreation area on the west side of the street. The park is centered on DuPage River and has miles of hiking and walking trails. The real gem here, though, is the 7-acre dog park! Hammel Woods Dog Park, a members-only park, is filled with all the amenities you and Fido need for the pawfect day! Exercise with your buddy or let him run and play free with other mutts. Have a picnic, camp in the special areas, or just relax in the shaded shelter while watching your buddy play.
Plainfield is a huge village located in both Will and Kendall Counties. You and Fido will want to start your adventures by exploring the northern part of Plainfield, where Lily Cache Road winds along Lily Creek. Clow Stephens Dog Park is a hidden gem and a nice discovery for a tired traveler with an active pooch! The dog park is perfect for playing and running off-leash in one of two separate areas for small and large canines. You and Fido may be the only patrons at this pawesome park depending on the time of day you visit, so be sure to bring some toys so you can wear out your furry friend before heading back home.
Located 32 miles southwest of Chicago, Homer Glen is a village in Will County, Illinois. The area features lots of open space and plenty of small lakes with a few residential quarters and some convenience stores. However, just a skip and a hop from from the downtown area, you will find Messenger Marsh, a nature preserve featuring about 620 acres of wildlife and forest with walking trails, a dog park, and picnic shelters. The dog park hosts 5 acres of exercise area where your pup is welcome to run and play with other mutts. Amenities include a shelter with shade, benches and drinking water. Due to local regulations, a permit is required for entering the park.
