Battle Ground

Battle Ground is located about eight miles south of Brookston. This small community includes residential developments, a few public schools, and some local businesses. You can explore history while you get some exercise with your pooch here. Head to Tippecanoe Battlefield Memorial and Park off South Railroad Street. This facility includes a historical landmark and a 96 acre recreation area. Go hiking with your four-footed pal and enjoy beautiful scenery on the way. After you stretch your legs, share an outdoor meal in the picnic area. Leashed dogs can join you in designated sections of the park. Bring waste bags for your outing.

East Delphi

About 11 miles to the east you'll find the neighborhood of East Delphi. This residential area includes a farm, single-family homes, and a city park. Canal Park

The neighborhood around Canal Park in Delphi includes a trailer park, single-family homes, and a few industrial buildings. Here, you can explore the history of the Wabash and Erie Canal by visiting the historic village. The park has a network of trails that take you past some National Register landmarks. Follow the Founder's Towpath, Underhill Towpath, and VanScoy Towpath with your four-footed friend. To extend your outing, you can also connect to other historic pathways in Delphi.
