Brookston is a quiet town with single-family homes, an elementary school, and a downtown commercial area. This community has a set of ballfields and a walking park where you can get some fresh air and exercise. You can take Spot to the Heart to Heart Walking Path when you want to stretch your legs. This unique park features a paved trail that loops around in the shape of intertwined hearts. Take a few laps around the one mile pathway with your special pal. Dogs need to be on a leash and under control. Bring water and waste bags with you when you come here.36

Battle Ground
Battle Ground is located about eight miles south of Brookston. This small community includes residential developments, a few public schools, and some local businesses. You can explore history while you get some exercise with your pooch here. Head to Tippecanoe Battlefield Memorial and Park off South Railroad Street. This facility includes a historical landmark and a 96 acre recreation area. Go hiking with your four-footed pal and enjoy beautiful scenery on the way.
