You will also enjoy any of the three green parks located in the highlands neighborhood. Cedar Swamp is the pawfect place for you to take your dog for a quiet and relaxing walk. There are paths for you to wander as long as you like, and despite the name, plenty of dry places to lay out a blanket and read a book or have a picnic while your pup gets plenty of rubs and pets from you.

Holbrook

Holbrook is found on the southern side of Braintree. This neighborhood is mostly residential, with plenty of pretty streets to pick from when it's time to take your dog out for her walk. She will bark her praises when she gets a look at the gorgeous landscape and wildlife that make the yards here their home. Holbrook has its own little forest that is simply pawfect for a Saturday morning hike. Just grab a harness and your clean-up bags and head on in for a lush green experience. Forest Street is a neighborhood on the east side of the Braintree. There are lots of small lakes here to explore and enjoy with an active pup looking for some extra exercise. Just grab your waste bags and your camera for capturing those gorgeous New England sunsets. You may also want to grab a tennis ball or frisbee on your way out the door just in case you decide to have an impromptu game of fetch.

Columbian Square

Columbian Square is another eastern neighborhood in Braintree. This residential oasis is home to make small streams that run through people’s yards and around the entire neighborhood. If you are going for a walk with your dog in Columbian Square, you will want to keep lots of waste bags handy. You will also want to make sure your dog is on a comfortable leash and can be easily calmed when encountering some of the many other dogs who call this neighborhood home.
