I love dogs! I have experience with all sizes from XS Pomeranians to XL St. Bernard’s and Newfies, and everything in between. I'm a very active surfer, yogi, and hiker all over New England and love being out in the elements, including rain and snow. I spend a lot of time at the beach in any weather! I also work at South Boston Animal Hospital-you may have seen me behind the front desk. I would love to take your pup with me on a safe and fun adventure around the neighborhood!

Hi, my name is Rebekah. I grew up an animal lover in Maine, where I enjoyed living with a Blue Heeler/Sheppard mix named Sitka. I started walking and sitting for my friends’ and neighbors’ pets more than 5 years ago and have loved it ever since! Recently I’ve moved to Boston and am excited to be back in the area. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. As an outdoorsy, active person, I’d love to meet your best friend and take them out for some fun and exciting exercise! I know each pup is as unique as they are loved, and I can’t wait to provide you both with the caring Wag! experience.

Dog Walking in Weymouth

Weymouth is located in Norfolk County and is considered part of the Greater Boston metropolitan area.  The area is known as the second oldest settlement in Massachusetts. The town went through some ups and downs before officially being incorporated in 1643. Today, it is a residential stronghold with easy access to Boston and Cape Cod.

The Great Esker Park is a great place for an afternoon walk with your four legged friend. Leash up your pup and get lost in the beauty of the Weymouth Back River. You can either follow the 1.5 mile road that runs through the park, or veer off the beaten path and follow the side trails. The terrain is full of eskers, or ridges formed by glaciers, and marshlands. Cyclists, kayakers, and canoers all love this park. So do birds; keep your eyes open for osprey, bald eagles and herons.

The Legion Memorial Park is a favorite among Weymouth residents. Treat your leashed pooch to some doggy exercise in this community hub. He’ll get the chance to socialize with neighbors as he trots along the half mile paved walking path. There are some small gravel side trails if he’s in the mood for exploring. After a trip to this park, he’ll be begging to visit the other parks Weymouth has to offer!

There’s no place your pup would rather be on a beautiful afternoon than the Webb Memorial State Park. Sitting right on a peninsula in Hingham Bay, this natural space provides pawsome views of Boston’s harbor and skyline as well as Weymouth’s Grape Island. A network of gravel trails weaves in and out of the park. As you wander through the sumac woods, you’ll find various memorials to citizens of Weymouth. There are even some side trails that lead to the beach. Several benches are scattered throughout the park, so sit back and soak in the view. No bones about it, this park will make your dog’s tail wag!

If your pooch is desperate for some off leash time, take her over to the Southfield Dog Park. She can romp and run to her heart’s content in this fenced field. Bring her favorite ball and play a game or two of fetch, or just let her mix and mingle with new four legged friends. This park has a separate area for small dogs, so petite pooches can play without worrying about their bigger peers. Your furry BFF can also test her athletic prowess on the agility equipment. By the time you head home, she’ll be doggone tired!

Treat your furry friend to a walk in World’s End, a stunning coastal park in Hingham. It’s only a 15 minute drive from Weymouth, and totally worth a visit. The combination of rolling hills, wooded areas, and rocky shorelines will make you feel far removed from the chaos of everyday life. There are 4.5 miles of unique tree lined carriage paths and footpaths. Follow the main trail, or create your own route. You can even spot the Boston skyline from a couple lookout points. Snap a photo of you and your pooch with the Hingham Bay in the background. Sounds amazing!
