One of the parks, Stodder's Neck, is surrounded by three small bodies of water and a rock wall. The park offers several trails and woods to explore and exercise with Fido. The park spreads a ride range of bowls throughout the area so dogs can stay hydrated and happy. Dogs may feel free to swim and play with other park dogs in the water and frolic through the fields as long as they want.

Boston has 8 different dog parks, 2 dog-friendly beaches, 4 hiking trails, 8 pet-friendly stores, 2 water-based activities, and one tour! Whew, got all that? The dog parks are equipped with the luxuries all dogs and their owners deserve, including inside areas, agility equipment, fenced areas, pathways, open grassy fields, waste disposal areas, and water stations. The only problem you should have when venturing to Boston is deciding where to go to first! Numerous boutiques and bakeries allow your four-legged best friend to join you inside for the fun, too.

Weston's local hiking trail called Cat Rock Park is rated five dog bones amongst local hikers. With wooded trails and a swimming pond, Cat Rock Park is your dog's utopian dream destination. Your dog is more than welcomed to romp off-leash with fellow four-legged companions. The park is spacious enough that park goers can spread out and enjoy optimal exercise. With the beautiful wildlife scenery to admire and explore through, this hiking trail definitely receives two paws up!

Stoneham is a 40-minute drive from South Boston, but is well worth the commute. Offering a variety of different terrains, the beautiful Sheepfold Park in Stoneham has something to suit everyone. With small bodies of water, nice woodland areas, and vast open fields, Sheepfold could be your next happy place. Your fur baby is asked to remain on-leash when walking the trails, but that’s okay, because by your side is your dog's favorite place to be! However, there is a designated off-leash area where acres of grassy fields are available for your beloved pet to romp off-leash with other dogs.
