Hi there, I'm Shanna! I have loved having dogs around me all my life, from one grandmother's obedience show dogs to the other grandmother's many adopted strays to the rescued Boxer who was my best friend as a kid, to the goofy fluffball spaniel back home in NH who shuns me whenever I pack to come back to Boston. I personally took both of my dogs through obedience training classes, and worked as a walker and sitter for neighbors for several years. I have been a pet sitter for oodles of other animals, from cats to chickens, and have several years of equestrian work and training experience as well. I can't have a dog with my current work schedule and apartment, so helping your furry friend get some exercise will be a wonderful way for me to get some canine companionship! I can't wait to meet your dog!

Hi, My name is Paul and I have had rescued three dogs since 1997. I had a large Bull Mastiff / St. Bernard mix named Veego that passed away at around 15 in 2012. I have had a German Shepherd since 2005, Honey is currently 14 years old. I have also had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Ben since 2007 that is about to be ten. I have pet sat for lots of friends in the past. Pitbulls, Rotweiller, Labradors, Boxer, Pug, Chihuahuas, French Bulldog, and a few Terriers. Seeing any dog always puts a smile on my face, from abandoned rescues to show dogs. I enjoy learning their unique personalities and quirks. I will treat your dog (and home) like I do my own, with love and care. I've also been vegetarian / vegan for over 25 years and like to stay active. Reliable transportation for North Shore and Boston.

Hi, my name is Rebekah. I grew up an animal lover in Maine, where I enjoyed living with a Blue Heeler/Sheppard mix named Sitka. I started walking and sitting for my friends’ and neighbors’ pets more than 5 years ago and have loved it ever since! Recently I’ve moved to Boston and am excited to be back in the area. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. As an outdoorsy, active person, I’d love to meet your best friend and take them out for some fun and exciting exercise! I know each pup is as unique as they are loved, and I can’t wait to provide you both with the caring Wag! experience.

Deer Island is a beautiful 2.6-mile island which gives you and your pup the perfect place for a great walk and some outdoor activities. The park includes a walking and jogging path, plus fishing, picnicking, and a great view of the ocean and of downtown Boston. Before Deer Island became a National Recreation Area, it was once a prison for the greater Massachusetts area, meaning there is history to explore here with the flora and fauna. Make sure to bring water with you while you and your pup explore this cool island off the peninsula of Winthrop. After checking out Deer Island, head over to Coughlin Park, another pawsome park off the coast. The park is fenced in and has a playground, benches, sports fields and a picnic area. If Fido isn't a fan of loud sounds, this may not be the park for him since a lot of planes fly overhead to land at the airport.
The Belle Isle Marsh Reservation is a 28-acre park that offers benches and an observation tower. The park offers a great walking trail that Fido will love to go on, and you get a beautiful view of the marsh and natural wildlife in the area. The trail that the park offers is about 1/2 mile, so if you and Fido are in a hurry, this is a great park to get a walk in at. The park borders the short Beach Creek, and on the other side of the creek is the Fredricks Park. This smaller park offers a less crowded feel, plus it has a nice walking path and playground.
The Ingelside Park offers a huge grass area where Fido can run around and play a nice game of fetch. This 10-acre park has basketball courts and a great walking path throughout the park where Fido and you can get a nice walk in before continuing on with you day. With plenty of trees to help provide shade, and a playground, your pup is going to love visiting this pawsome park with you. The park slightly boarders the ocean as well, so Fido will get a beautiful view while there. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you while the two of you are hanging out at Ingelside Park.
The Pico Playground and Beach is a great oceanside park to take Fido to for a fun day out. The park offers a playground, tennis courts, a street hockey area, and basketball courts to keep the humans busy. Benches are provided when you need a break, and there's plenty of grass for Fido to run on. The walking trail is perfect for your leashed pup to get some exploring in. Fido will love spending his afternoon at this beautiful park with an amazing view. Make sure to bring plenty of water and don't forget your cleanup bags.
The Bremen Street Dog Park in Boston is a pawsome dog park to take Fido to and allow him to run around off leash and meet some new friends. The park offers separate sections for large and small dogs, plus doggie water fountains and some agility equipment for the more active dogs. This dog park does have some restrictions before your pup is allowed to run around, so make sure to check those out before heading to the park. Only four miles out of Winthrop in East Boston, your pup won't mind the small car ride to check out this dogtastic park.
