This neighborhood has single-family homes located near a small commercial area and a furrific park. Walk down the sidewalk with your fur baby here to get some exercise. You can also take Fido to Roberts Mill Park off Stumptown Road. This 19.3 acre facility includes athletic fields, a playground, and a spring-fed pond. Go jogging or hiking on the paved trail that circles the pond with your four-footed pal here. Dogs are welcome to join you if they're on a leash. Bring waste bags with you for your outing.

Advocates Choice

About seven miles east of Allandale, you'll find the neighborhood of Advocates Choice. This far northern suburb of Westminster is a residential area with country estates. For a trip through history, head north to The Union Mills Homestead. When you want to explore nature with your pup, check out the Hashawha Environmental Center located off John Owings Road. This 320 acre property includes a fishing lake and over five miles of trails. Select from one of the three pathways based on length and level of difficulty to get some exercise with your pooch. Remember to keep your pup on a leash and clean up his waste.

Autumn Ridge

The neighborhood of Autumn Ridge in Westminster is about seven miles southeast of town. This residential development includes private residences and a corporate campus. You're conveniently located near a shopping district and a town mall here. When you want to get some fresh air and exercise with your special pal, take him to Westminster Community Pond off Baltimore Boulevard. This property has a paved walking trail around the water, a fishing dock, open space, and picnic areas. Walk or jog around the pond with your fur baby. Dogs on a leash are allowed to join you. About 5.7 miles southeast of Allandale, the neighborhood of Whispering Meadows is a residential area featuring single-family homes, apartments, and a church. In this community, you and your family can visit the municipal pool. If you're looking for a place to take Fido with the rest of the crew, head to Jaycee Park off Johann Drive. This local facility has ball fields, a playground, and open space. Play fetch or work on obedience drills with your fur baby while the kids get their exercise. You can bring dogs as long as they're on a leash. Remember to pick up any droppings.

Alto Vista, on the southern side of Westminster, is about nine miles south of Allandale. This residential suburb includes single-family homes, two hospitals, and a lovely county park. In the area, you'll find the Carroll County Farm Museum where you can learn about farm life in the 19th century. To treat your four-footed pal to an outing, head to Landon C. Burns Park. This county park includes a paved walking trail, fishing pond, athletic fields, and picnic areas with a grill. Get some exercise and enjoy a picnic in the park with your leashed pup. Bring waste bags to clean up any messes.
