The Glenn Dale Park is a pawsome area to explore with your pup. This  lovely neighborhood park is set on top of a hill, offering beautiful views of the town, and a vigourous hike to get there! It also features a playground, ball field, and picnic area for the two of you to enjoy. Make sure to take advantage of the open space so your furry pal can run off some of that energy. Bring plenty of water and clean-up bags with you when you visit. Nearby is the WB&A Trail which is 12.8 miles long and offers a great walking experience for you and Fido.

Seabrooke

The Gaywood Neighborhood Park is a dogtastic spot to let Fido roam around for a great day out. The park has plenty of trees for shade, plus some open space so Fido can run around, and a basketball court. The Thomas Seabrook Neighborhood Park offers a fitness station, tennis courts, a picnic area, playground and a great trail for the two of to hike along. Your pup will love checking out both of these pawsome parks with you by his side. Make sure to bring plenty of water so Fido can stay hydrated while there.

Glenn Dale

The Palamar Park is fantastic to visit if you and Fido are both trying to get a little exercise squeezed into your day. The park offers tons of green space so Fido can run around and release some energy. At times, the park may be a bit busy since they offer an outdoor pool, so if Fido isn't a social butterfly, the two of you pay want to skip this park for a less busy one. With all the running Fido can do on the grass and a nice walking trail to enjoy, your pup will love visiting Palamar Park with you.

Fairwood

The Bowie Dog Park in nearby Bowie is only eight miles from Glenn Dale, and a dogtastic area to let your pup run around off leash and meet some new friends. This one acre dog park offers a separated area for large and small dogs, plus there are trees for shade and a wood chip ground covering. If you forget your clean-up bags, the park does have a waste station area, and they provide water for you pup. Locals love the fact that the park is always clean and well maintained, plus the 1-acre gives Fido more then enough room to run.

Located five miles out of Glenn Dale in Bowie, your pup is going to love the puptastic choices for dining out. Grab a bite to eat with Fido by your side at Panera Bread. This pawsome eatery gives you healthy options to choose from like salads and soups, plus they have desserts, pastries, and freshly made bread daily. Chipotle Mexican Grill offers burritos, tacos, bowls, and salads all customized to the way you like it, and they serve beer and margaritas. Both of these eateries have dog friendly patios and welcome Fido to enjoy your meal right alongside you.
