Greenbelt Park
Greenbelt Dog Park is just six miles from Seabrook, meaning you and Fido won’t have to venture too far to have a ball together! This bark park is completely fenced-in, allowing your pooch to play it safe while making some furry friends. This dog park usually isn’t too crowded, meaning your dog can be the king of the castle – or, rather, king of the agility equipment he can climb up on. A permit is required to use this park, but five dollars allows you access for the entire year. You’ll want to bring along some waste bags and water.

Riverdale Gardens
Less than ten miles from Seabrook, you and Fido can find access to Northeast Branch Trail, located in Riverdale Gardens! At just under four miles long, this trail is perfect for beginner hikers. You’ll want to keep Fido on his leash, both for his own safety and the safety of others. You wouldn’t want him getting lost! Make sure to bring along water for the both of you and waste bags, too, as it’s your responsibility to clean up after your pet. Be aware that bicyclists enjoy this trail, too, so keep your eyes open.

Berwyn Heights
Looking for another trail to explore together? This one’s about 20 minutes away from Seabrook, and it’s located in the Berwyn Heights neighborhood of College Park. Indian Creek Trail isn’t even two miles long, so it’s pretty short. However, locals say the trail is pawsitively beautiful, meaning you won’t mind walking it a few times. We’re sure your dog won’t, either! He’ll need to be on a leash, preferably one no longer than six feet in length. Keep your eyes open for wildlife along the trail, too. Get out and get moving with your canine companion!

Heurich Dog Park, located in Hyattsville’s Chillum neighborhood, is about 20 minutes away from Seabrook. This bark park has two separate sections. Like most dog parks, one section is for smaller dogs while the other is for larger dogs. This allows your pooch to play it safe while making new friends! The dog park has plenty of room for your dog to burn off any pent-up energy, so both of you are sure to love it!

Knoll View Ct/Old Stage Rd
Bowie Dog Park is just five miles away from Seabrook, and although this dog park is small, it’s sure to be a ton of fun for your playful pup. This one-acre bark park is divided into two separate sections, one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. You’ll want to bring along some waste bags, but water is provided. A bonus? Bowie Dog Park is known for being clean, which is great news, because nothing ruins a day like accidentally stepping in dog poo! Free parking is available. This is an off-leash dog park.
