Dog Areas in Seabrook, MD

Seabrook, Maryland is an unincorporated community located in Prince George’s County. With just over 17,000 residents, it might seem like a small area, but it’s definitely grown since it was founded in 1872. Thomas Seabrook, who the town is named after, first settled the community, but back then, it only had three cottages and a park. While you’re here to read about visiting dog parks, Thomas Seabrook had another type of park in mind: one for tamed deer that people could go and pet.

That park no longer exists in Seabrook, but unfortunately, neither do any dog parks. Seabrook also doesn’t have any dog-friendly restaurants or shopping. However, there are options that are just a short drive away, no matter what direction you decide to head in. Seabrook is also surrounded by plenty of veterinarian clinics, so whether your pooch just needs a wellness check or you’re looking to get care for a sick or injured pup, care is never too far away.

Seabrook is a beautiful town with plenty to do, and if you don’t mind a quick drive with your dog, the two of you are sure to have a barking good time together!
