The remote area of Woodlyn Meadows is a development of single-family homes surrounded by woods and farmland. There are quiet country roads here where you and Fido can stretch your legs. For a pawtastic outdoor adventure, take your furry friend about four miles west to Loch Raven Reservoir. Hike or jog along the Merryman's Mill Trail with your pup. Enjoy the beautiful setting as you walk by the water and through the woods in this expansive watershed. You can bring dogs on a leash up to six feet long, provided you clean up after them. Remember to bring water with you for your outing.

Wimbledon

About two miles northeast of Woodlyn Meadows, you'll find Wimbledon. This Fallston neighborhood includes private residences and a few churches. There are quiet country roads in this community that make a pawesome place to take an afternoon stroll with your fur baby. For a play date, take Spot to the Ma & Pa Dog Park off County Home Road. Let your special pal romp with other canines. This facility has separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. There are water stations and benches here. Dogs need to be healthy, vaccinated, and licensed to use the park. Make sure you pick up your dog's waste.

Woodridge Manor

Woodridge Manor in Pleasant Hills is located three miles northeast of Woodlyn Meadows. This residential neighborhood has lanes with peaceful, partially wooded lots where you and Spot can take a stroll. When you want to get out in nature with your special pal, head about four miles southeast to Hartford Glen Park. This facility has scenic hiking trails that go through the woods and by the Atkisson Reservoir where you can go exploring with your four-footed friend. Dogs on a leash can accompany you here, provided that you keep them on a leash. Remember to bring some water and waste bags with you.

Woodcrest

The Woodcrest development in Pleasant Hills is just 2.4 miles east of Woodlyn Meadows. This residential area has quiet roads that you and your canine companion can use to get some daily exercise. Take a nature walk with your pooch by heading five miles southeast to the Winters Run Greenway. This nearly 36-acre park features a nature trail through undeveloped forest land. Follow along the stream as you walk or jog on the pathway with your four-footed pal. Dogs can join you here if they're on-leash and under your control. Bring water and waste bags with you for your outing.

Fork

The small community of Fork is about three miles southwest of Woodlyn Meadows. This rural area has wooded lanes that offer a peaceful place to go for a walk with Fido. There's a pawtastic park that features waterfalls located just four miles south of this neighborhood. Check out Gunpowder Falls State Park - Central Area to go hiking by the Gunpowder River. This part of the park has miles of multi-use trails that wander along the water and through the forest. Dogs on a leash can accompany you here as long as you clean up after them. Make sure you bring water for your trek.
