I love all animals especially dogs and it is my passion to bring them as much joy as they bring me. I have cared for my Yorke Maltese for over nine years along with many other dogs. I am currently going to school to become a pilot and I carry the same professionalism and commitment with me as walk dogs. I respect owners wishes and strive to train the pets to their parents wishes while on walks. The safety of the dogs is always my top priority along with making sure their happiness is achieved.

I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have worked in pet stores and grooming salons where I have expanded my knowledge on animal nutrition and pet handling and I'm very comfortable working with both small and large breed dogs.

Hello! I am currently a student at Minnesota State University Mankato majoring in business marketing. I have always loved dogs ever since I was little. Right now I have two dogs a pit bull (Layla, age 3) and a golden retriever (Piper, age 9). I love taking my dogs on walks, to the lake, playing fetch with them, and taking them to play at the dog park! If you would let me I would love to adventure with your dog too. I have a lot of experience with taking care of dogs and understand that each dog may require different care and I’m willing to learn how to specifically care for your dog. I hope I get a chance to meet and walk/take care of your special member of your family!

It's no coincidence that my favorite places to hangout in Minneapolis are also dog friendly. My favorite spots are Minnehaha dog park, Able brewing and Psycho Suzi's! I am a graduate student and apartment life has barred me from adopting a pup of my own. Since I've moved from home I'm also apart from my dear family dogs, a vizsla and great dane mix. Alas, I still have that itch to scratch - scratching dogs' furry ears and backs that is! Let me help you give your dog a refreshing, stimulating walk and book with me. I can't wait to meet your four-legged family member!

Dog Walking in Mankato

Mankato is a Fido-friendly town featuring many great hiking trails and parks. The rivers and lakes provide a wonderful place to take your pooch out for a day of fun activities and exercise while enjoying the beautiful views and landscape.

Red Jacket Trail is just one adventure you and your pooch can explore. It is part of the network of former rail lines and offers 13 miles of trail to follow.  Traveling over the railroad bridges and through the woods allows your pup plenty of space to sniff and roll in the grass.

You may also want to plan a day with the family at the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail. As another rail-to-trail path, you can walk parts of the 39 miles of paved trail that meanders through the city. The attached park is also a great place to enjoy a picnic lunch while Fido runs around having a furtastic time smelling flowers and looking for wildlife.

Taking care of your pup’s medical needs is not a problem in Mankato. Four qualified veterinary clinics are available for routine and emergency care. Finding a great dog-friendly restaurant in town is also easy. Check out Blue Bricks Bar and Eatery, where you can enjoy a sandwich or salad and relax at the outdoor seating with your pooch. Another option is Pub 500 where you can have drinks with friends and their furry companions.

Neighbors often bring their pups after a long day at work to run off some excess energy. There are benches available so doggie owners can sit and chat while their pups socialize.
