Babcock Park
A fun destination for Fido and the family is Northfield Dog Park in thia neighborhood. Your pup will enjoy running off-leash in the fenced area and socializing with other pups and their parents. Your pooch can have a snifftastic time wandering through the plants or chasing a ball or frisbee. While the pups play, parents can relax on a bench in the shade under the wind shelter. Just be sure to bring some water bottles, and clean up after your pup. After letting your pooch spend some time off leash, head out to Babcock Park where you can walk laps around the field and refill your water bottles at the convenient restrooms.

Carleton College
When your pup is looking for a fun activity to get rid of some excess energy, head over to Washington Park in the Carleton College neighborhood. You and Fido can spend time walking along the pathways while the kids spend some time on the playground. Your pooch may also enjoy chasing a toy in the ballfield, or having a snack at one of the picnic tables. If Fido gets bored and needs even more exercise, stroll over to Riverside Lions Park just a couple blocks away. You can spend time on the trails and refill your water bottles at the fountain.

St Olaf
The St. Olaf neighborhood offers several parks where you and your pup can spend time together. Odd Fellows Park on Forest Ave features walking trails and a picnic shelter. You and your pooch can stroll through the wooded area or relax under the shade of the gazebo. Other nearby options include Cherry Park where you can spend time with the family and grill some burgers or get in your daily laps on the walking trails. Both two and four-legged children also enjoy spending time at the Way Park on 1st Street. There are walking trails, a playground, and convenient restrooms where you can refill your pup’s water bottles.

Spring Creek Park
Spring Creek Park is located on Jefferson Parkway, and features grassy areas to walk Fido and soccer fields where the kids can play. The park is well-maintained and offers a peaceful place to stroll with your pooch to get some exercise. Kids love running around the playground, and you and your pooch can watch them play from the shaded benches. There are convenient bathrooms where you can refill water bottles at the fountain, and the small pond is a great place to sit and watch the wildlife. Parking is easily accessibl,e and people of all ages will love spending time with their pups in this tranquil park.
Dundas
Just five minutes south of Northfield, pups and their parents will love the Dundas Dog Park! The park is adjacent to the Countryside Animal Hospital in Dundas and offers plenty of space for Fido to run around in the open fields and long grass. The double gated entry creates a safe passage into the park and you can walk around through the grass and trees while your pup has a furtastic time. Be sure to bring your own doggie waste bags and clean up after your pup. The dog park is located inside the larger Schilling Park, where you can enjoy a relaxing walk.
