Waseca City Center
When you are in Waseca, you have got to visit Loon Lake Park! Furry friends are welcome at this pawsome park where there is plenty of green grass and trees. Of course, there is also the Loon Lake where you can fish for bluegills, bass and northern pike. Other furrific amenities include a playground for the kids and a basketball court. If you get hungry, head to Dairy Queen for a bite to eat! You can get your paws into some delicious burgers and hotdogs, as well as order a tasty Pup Cup for your canine.

Clear Lake Dr/ U.S. Route 14
For some fun in the sun with your pooch, head on over to Clear Lake Park! This pawsome green spot in Waseca offers lots of grass and open space for your pup to run and roam, as well as enjoy a game of fetch. This park is also next to Clear Lake, which means you can admire the views and have the oppawtunity to fish here. Other puptastic amenities at Clear Lake Park include a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball court and a,playground for the kids. If you and your pooch love the outdoors, why not stay at Kiesler’s Campground? This is a pawsome place where you can camp out under the stars and around the fire. There are also furrific amenities here including mini golf, fishing, a swimming pool and there is even Wi-Fi available. All furry friends are welcome here, as long as they remain on leash.

Vista/ Otisco
To go on an adventure with your furry friend, be sure to head to the Moonan State Wildlife Management Area! Here you can explore the sniff-tastic trails through the woods, and let your pup investigate all of the natural scents and sights of nature. You also have the oppawtunity to hunt at Moonan State Wildlife Management Area, and you will find animals such as deer, squirrels and small game here. All pups can be top dog at Moonan State Wildlife Management Area, as long as they remain on leash. Since there aren’t any facilities here, be sure to bring some water for your doggo!

Waterville
For some exercise with your canine, head north of Waseca to the puptown of Waterville! Here you will find the pawsome Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail, which is a puptastic way to stretch your legs with your furry friend. This sniff-tastic trail offers fun for the whole day since it is 39 miles long and offers some furrific landscapes you can admire along the way. This includes barking good farmlands, wetlands, woodlands and lakes you can enjoy. Since bikes can use the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail too, it may be best to keep your beloved companion on his or her leash while you are exploring.

Owatonna City Center
Every pup deserves a trip to the park, and there is no better place to take your pooch than to Lake Chase Dog Park! This pawsome spot is located in Owatonna, which is only a car journey away from Waseca. Here you can unclip your canine’s leash and let him have a ball in the safe fenced run. There are separate areas for small puppers and larger doggos, so that everyone can make new furry friends. Just be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pooch. There is a membership required to use Lake Chase Dog Park, but it definitely is worth it!
