It's a good neighborhood for dog owners too, as this is where you will find the Whitney Park Dog Park. This park is located within a larger park, but the off-leash area is fenced in to keep your dogs safe. The park also provides some agility equipment and games, and there is plenty of shade on hot days as well as seating. You will also find several other paths and trails just outside of the park's boundaries that you may also wish to explore.

The off-leash park doesn't have a lot of shade, so if you're visiting on a hot day, be sure to bring plenty of water and consider visiting when the sun isn't at its peak. In North Sartell, there is a large, fenced-in, off-leash park within a larger park called Pinecone Central Park. This four-acre park has separate sections for dogs of different sizes, and the surrounding parkland has sports fields and concession stands. The dog park portion of the park was only built in 2015, but it has quickly become a local favorite place. There is something to do here for the whole family, and this park definitely worth the quick trip from Saint Cloud.
