A puptastic park to visit with your pooch in Willmar is Pleasant View Park! Here there is lots of open green grass that is perfect for playing fetch with a ball or Frisbee. Just be sure to bring some water, as there is no shade at this park. If you need comfortable accommodation when you are in Willmar, stay at the Super 8 Motel. Here you are welcome to bring two pups with you of any size for only a small additional fee per night. In addition, there is the Best Western Conference Center, which is dog friendly. You can bring three puppers here of any size for only a small additional fee per pet.

To take your pup for a walk the park, head to the Hilltop Park when you are in Willmar! This is a pawsome place where your furry friend can run and roam freely on the grass. There is lots of open space to play fetch with a ball or tug of war with your pooch, as well as other puptastic facilities for the family to enjoy. This includes a tennis court and playground equipment for the kids. For a refreshment, head over to Lulu Bean’s! This is a furrific coffee shop and bakery where you can tuck into some paninis, sweet treats and enjoy a choice of flavored coffee. What’s more, there are five outdoor tables where you beloved companion can lay down and enjoy a nap.

There is nothing better than a trip to the dog park when the sun is shining in Willmar! The Willmar Dog Park, located inside of Lions Park, is a pawsome place for your pooch, with 2.5 acres of grass your furry friend will love to roll and roam around in. It is all fenced in for safe play, with separate areas for small pups and larger canines. There are dog waste bags available in case you furgot your own; just be sure to bring a bowl for your companion to enjoy some fresh water. After all that excitement, head over to Caribou Coffee! Here you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea, as well as juices and tasty food bites like muffins, cookies and croissants. Your beloved canine can also join you at one of the four outdoor tables.

Every dog needs his daily exercise, and there is no better place to stretch your legs than on the Glacial Lakes State Trail! This is a 29 mile sniff-tastic old rail trail where you can go exploring for the day with your pooch along the Burlington Northern Railroad. Your pup will love to roam over the prairies and through the forest! Another pawsome place to visit with your furry friend is Robbins Island. This is the largest park in Wilmar and offers endless green space to play fetch with your canine, as well as plenty of oak trees to investigate. Other furrific amenities include shore fishing, playground equipment and picnic shelters. If you are visiting Willmar and need a place to stay for the night, check in to the dog friendly Lakeview Inn. Here you are welcome to bring two pups for only a small additional fee per night.
