Sunset Hills

City Limits

Just 6 miles away, you'll find the city of Ballwin, which is home to the Tails & Trails Dog Park at Queeny Park. This dog park provides five acres for fenced, leash-free frolicking! Small or timid dogs have a separate space to play. Pet parents can rest and relax at the wi-fi enabled pavilion while their pals make some new fur-iends. There are also several permanent pieces of agility equipment where dogs can interact with their person as they work on scooting through a tunnel or jumping over an obstacle. As if that weren't enough, the park also provides access to a small creek and a lake for some splashin' good fun! A place to rinse off a day’s work of playing makes it easy to have a clean ride home. Visitors must register with St. Louis County prior to visiting the dog park.

City Limits

Creve Coeur is seven miles north of Des Peres. Creve Coeur Dog Park at Conway Park has 2.5 acres of fully fenced space for dogs to rid themselves of the leash and make a few new friends to run with. There is a half-acre space for the small dogs. You'll find drinking water on-site, but you'll need to bring your own waste bags for cleaning up after your pup. The main park includes a lake with a walking path around it where a leashed dog can take their favorite person for an extended bit of exercise. The dog park is accessible by membership only. After paying the annual membership fee, you'll receive a code which will give you access to the designated dog area.

Olivette City Limits

If none of those dog parks strike your fancy, you'll find another one in Olivette, just 8 miles north of Des Peres. Olivette Dog Park is a fully fenced enclosure where dogs can socialize and play leash-free. Amenities include special water fountains for dogs and humans, benches situated under shade trees, waste stations stocked with doggie waste bags, and picnic tables. No need to bring anything except for plenty of energy! (And maybe some snacks, too.) The surface is mostly grass and natural terrain. This dog park requires prior registration and a fee paid to the city of Olivette. Residents have a reduced fee. This dog park is open from sunrise to sunset.  

City Limits

Maryland Heights city limits is located ten miles north of Des Peres, and home to the aptly-named Dogport Dog Park. This pawesome park has four acres which are fully fenced so your pal can get off his leash and run to his heart's content! Small dogs get their own area so they don't have to ruffhouse with the big breeds. The ground at the dog park is mostly dirt and gravel; there isn't much grass. Drinking water is available on-site here. Human companions have covered areas from which to sit and supervise their four-legged friend at play. This is a membership-only dog park which operates from dawn to dusk.
