Sunset Hills

Sunset Hills, just 4 miles away from Frontenac, is home to the pawesome Kitun Dog Park, the pawfect place for some off-leash fun and socialization. Small dogs have their own separate space here. Drinking water is available for both people and dogs, and several waste stations situated throughout the dog park help remind people to clean up after their canine friend. The large area has a few pieces of agility equipment. Humans have areas where they can can sit and watch their four-legged friend romp and roll in the grass. Admission to the dog park is reserved to members only. Registration is available from the City of Sunset Hills or Crestwood.

City Limits

Ballwin is thirteen miles west of Frontenac, but has a furrific dog park to visit. Tails & Trails at Queeny Park offers five acres for leash-free adventure. This dog park gives dogs access to a creek and a lake, so bring some towels! Small dogs have their own separate area. A natural terrain gives dogs many different smells to experience. People can sit in a pavilion and watch their dog play. Drinking water is available for people and their dogs, and numerous waste stations supplied with doggie waste bags are situated in places around the dog park. A few pieces of agility equipment adds to the fun! This dog park requires registration and an annual fee to St. Louis County.

Ellisville City Limits

Ellisville, located less than 10 miles north, has numerous city parks with various trails to explore with a leashed pup. Most of the trails are paved, so mind your pal's paws on hot days. A four-mile trail connects all the Ellisville parks. Bluebird Park has 40 fenced acres where dogs can run leash-free. The acreage is divided with a separate smaller area for the small dogs. Amenities include dog and human water fountains and sheltered seating for the humans. Remember to bring some waste bags! This dog park is a members-only dog park. An annual membership is available from the city. This dog park is open from sunrise to sunset.

City Limits

Less than 10 miles northwest of Frontenac, you'll find Creve Coeur, home to Creve Coeur Dog Park, located within the larger Conway Park. This pawesome dog park has two fully fenced acres of mostly grass for dogs to run and spend some time just being a dog. A half-acre is separately fenced for small dogs. There are numerous places to get waste baggies here. A neat feature of the dog park is its kiddie pool, which is very pawpular in the hot summer sun. Drinking water is supplied for dogs and people, so you'll have everything you need to enjoy a day at the park. This dog park is a members-only park. An annual membership is available at the city hall.

City Limits

Dogport Dog Park in Maryland Heights has four acres where dogs can run, romp, and make some new fur-iends! There is a large enclosure, and a separate, smaller one for small dogs. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt; there is not much grass at this park. Trees line the perimeter of the dog park, and provide a small bit of shade on a summer day. Shelters are available for the humans, and water is available for person and pup. The dog park is open from dawn to dusk. Visitors to the park must first purchase a membership from the city.
