Bonsai/ Frienship
The Bonsai/ Friendship neighborhood is pleasantly tucked in the center of Apex. Near the northern end of the neighborhood lies Apex Nature Park, which features 160 acres of beautiful paths and trails to explore with your dog for some good old fashioned exercise. There’s beautiful woodlands that can be hiked through,paved walkways, sports courts and fields, a playground, and an amphitheater. There is also a dog park inside with 2 acres of fenced and lighted space covered in wood chips for your dog to romp in with other pups! There are separate areas for large and small dogs, and water available. Your dog does need to be registered, and there is a membership fee to enter. Once here, your dog will never want to go home again!

Kelly Glen Drive
Kelly Glen Drive is a lovely area that’s right along the bend of two dog friendly parks. Near the northern area lies Kelly Road Park, with open grass for easy running and playing. The park is dotted with trees and includes covered benches for a break from the heat. Tucked in the center of the neighborhood is Kelly Glen Park, packed full of trees and trails for a truly nature filled experience. There are paved walkways that give truly breathtaking views, as well as open grass areas for those pups who just need to run. Guaranteed to be rated five out of five by your favorite pooches!

Pearson Farms
Pearson Farms is a gorgeous little area tucked right up against Beaver Creek. This neighborhood is host to Beaver Creek Greenway, which is a dog friendly park with over 2 acres of gorgeous natural areas to take a stroll in, especially in the mornings or the evenings when the sun streams through the trees at just the right angle. Paved paths wind through majestic trees near a bubbling creek, providing the perfect scenery while you take your favorite four legged friend out for some exercise. This park and neighborhood is definitely a hit for dogs and dog owners alike.

Amherst
Amherst is a pleasant neighborhood nestled nicely near the center of Apex. Apex Jaycee Park borders the southern bounds of this neighborhood, and is the perfect place to take your pooch out for a morning stroll. This 23 acre forested area comes complete with paved paths, and hiking trails for the more adventurous. If hiking isn’t your style, there are sports fields where your dog can run and play to his heart’s content between local games. There’s also picnic shelters with grills available to make a day of it! Just be sure to keep your pup properly leashed.

Town Center
The Town Center neighborhood is nestled in the heart of the city, and offers up the Hunter Street Park for your pup’s pleasure. This 12 acre park features a playground, sports fields, a walking trail, and most importantly, a dog park! With separate fenced in areas for large and small dogs, your pup is sure to have a blast! There are water fountains for the dogs, waste stations for easy clean-up, and benches and gazebos in shaded areas for you to relax on! Dogs do need to be registered and have to adhere to the park rules to play, and there is a membership fee to enter, so be sure to check this out before you go.
