Central Fuquay
Conveniently located right downtown in Central Fuquay Varina, you can find a great gem for puppy playtime. Falcon Park is one of Fuquay Varina’s oldest parks and a pawpular place for dog walkers. Families and their dogs come to this pretty park with big shady trees to relax and get some fresh air. This 5 acre park includes athletic fields, picnic shelters and restrooms. Leashed dogs are welcome as long as they’re picked up after. If you and your pup are peckish, try out Garibaldi Trattoria.It’s a great dog friendly option serving authentic Italian fare. The restaurant recommends calling ahead to make sure one of the outdoor dog-friendly tables are available.36

Woodland Point
Just a ball-toss away from downtown, you’ll find the fantastic Fuquay Varina Dog Park in the Woodland Point neighborhood. The dog park is said to be a little difficult to find, but don’t give up because you and your pup will love the 8 acres of shady grass to romp around on. There are two separate fenced in areas for large and small breeds, with 6ft chain link fences to keep in the dogs who are jumpers and climbers! The dog park also offers drinking water and doggy waste bags. When it’s time for a tasty treat, head over to Stick Boy Bread Co. This locally owned restaurant has fresh baked pasties and two dog friendly outdoor tables.

Parker Point
In the Parker Point neighborhood in the west end of Fuquay Varina, you’ll be able to enjoy the biggest public open space in town. The Fleming Loop Recreational Park contains a massive 36 acres of soccer fields and green space surrounded by shady trees. It gets tails wagging every time! The Fleming Loop Recreational Park welcomes leashed dogs on its sports fields to romp and play, just be sure to only use the fields that aren’t in use by athletic events. And don’t forget to bring the clean up bags so you can pick up after your pup!

South Park
Locals and visitors of the South Park neighborhood love bringing their dogs to the Carroll Howard Johnson Environmental Park! When you and your pup are itching for some fresh air and exercise, this is a fur-tastic option. The park is 26 acres of peaceful woodlands, and even includes a 2 mile walking trail. Amenities include covered picnic tables, bathrooms and an amphitheater. If you would like to learn more about the local flora and fauna while your pup rests his paws, you can enjoy the information stands that are placed throughout the park. Leashed dogs are welcome, so get ready to make some new furry friends!
Old Honeycutt
Residents and dogs of the Old Honeycutt neighborhood are happy to be living in close proximity to the Honeycutt Road Park. This park is located in the east end of Fuquay Varina, and features 11 acres of pretty, multi-use greenspace. There are three soccer fields, a tennis court and a playground available for use. Your dog will pawsitively love the walking trail here! Restrooms and picnic tables are located in the park as well, so why not bring your family and make a day out of it! Dogs are welcome as long as they’re leashed and picked up after.
