Nags Head
Nags Head is a beach town, and Nags Head Beach is proof of why so many people come back year after year to enjoy it. Not only do people love Nags Head Beach, but dogs also love it, and they are welcome year-round as long as they're on a leash under ten-feet long, although some visitors say dogs are allowed off their leash if they are well behaved. The beach also provides waste bags and several trash bins to keep the beach clean and enjoyable for everyone else. There is even an ice cream stand nearby that serves special doggy ice cream treats!36

Southwest Nags Head
Southwest Nags Head has plenty to explore, and people often choose to explore the beach on four wheels! A great place to do that is at the Oregon Inlet 4 Wheel Drive Beach! Of course, you don't have to explore on four wheels, and you can just enjoy a day relaxing at the beach with your feet in the sand. If you do choose to rent a four-wheeler, there is a fishing center across the street from the beach where you can refill your tires at the end of the day. No matter what you choose to do at the Oregon Inlet Beach, you and your dog are sure to have a blast!24
