North Greenville
In the North Greenville neighborhood of the city of Greenville, Eastside Park is the place to be for a great outdoor adventure with your fur-ever friend. Start with visiting Eastside’s Dog Park where your pup can kick up his heels with the big boys. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. Be sure to bring water to keep your pawtastic pal hydrated. After Fido is worn out from all that running, you can wander over the Eastside’s other amenities and enjoy a discovery area for the kiddies and an extreme sports park for adults. Restrooms can be found throughout.

South Greenville
Head to the South Greenville neighborhood, of the city of Greenville, with Fido and visit Alice Keene Park, 27 miles northwest of River Road. This park has the perfect mix of wide open spaces to wander or take Fido on a walk through the green space on an extended leash to stretch his legs. For a more structured stroll, there are many interconnected walking trails throughout this park that any pup will love. The sports enthusiast will appreciate their many sports fields, the kids will enjoy the playgrounds, and a hungry pup will adore the picnic areas. Restrooms are on-site.

Chocowinity
Just a short 8-mile drive west of
River Road, you will find the town Chocowinity. The Chocowinity Recreation Complex is comprised of a beautiful park just
waiting for you and your pup to spend the day. There is a walking trail suited for all leashed pups and is rated as
easy terrain. You will find a large playground
for the kiddies and two picnic shelters with tables to relax in the shade. There are 4 baseball fields, a football field
and even a beach volleyball court where you and pup can catch a game. Restrooms and drinking fountains are on-site.

Bath
Visit the town of Bath, 12 miles east of River Road, and stop by Bonner’s Point, located on Bath Creek. This small park-like area is perfect to relax the day away with your fur-ever friend by your side. You have plenty of opportunity to watch the boats on Bath Creek while you walk along the shoreline. Be sure to keep your pup on leash here and bring plenty of water to share. It is a great location to share a picnic lunch. Bonner’s Point is close to the city area to do some window shopping after.

Washington City Center
In the City Center neighborhood of the city of Washington, two miles north of River Road, the Washington Off-Leash Dog Park is ready for your pup! This ½-acre park is completely fenced for your pup’s safety, and has separate areas for large and small dogs, perfect to run off-leash with the boys. There are watering areas available, clean up stations on site, and benches for owners to relax while enjoying the fun. Lots of shade trees are perfect to rest and to keep your pup cool! Or jump on the Jack’s Creek Greenway which is a paved walking path through the city center.
